Played this for our double a school festival few months ago. I had the chime part and absolutely loved the ending. The piece did really make me feel like I was in space.
Just got the song for my freshman concert band and was assigned timpani! I can already tell that this is already my favorite concert band piece so far besides maybe “The Cave You Fear” by Micheal Markowski

Ay I have chimes now! And we actually get a solo! I played my heart out on those things, and the director told me to go louder. It's great.
I played this for Honors Band, I had the bass drum part, it was so cool! My director let me play the bass drum REALLY loudly, it was so much fun 😂
