Summer at a camp in Texas. Beautiful lakes and girls and good times. The soundtrack to that summer was basically playing Ultra Vivid Scene Joy (1967-1999) on repeat. Time of my life. Thanks, Kurt for the music and Camp Grady Spruce for the kisses and memories.

I think I know what you mean with "full", because I remember MTV used to play a version which only featured the bits where Ultra and Kim are singing on their chairs, without the "hotel room" footage. And I must admit I prefer that "simple" version. Anyway, thanks for uploading those absolute gems 4AD produced in the past.

Love it!!!! I am a loser, I admit it . An alcoholic and a failed, tragic person in general. This tune, however, makes me feel like I was cheated along the way, as I was innocent. Love the melody, and I love Kim and Kurt. 4AD was a special one indeed as they did This Mortal Coil with Kim on the vocals...not to mention, The Breeders very special and commercial LP Last Splash--a wonderful album in every respect.

At the risk of sounding like a complete moron - I never knew this was Kim Deal singing on this song. One of my favorite songs from early 90's alternative radio but I never saw the video until today. Kim this only makes my love for you that much stronger.

Not knowing it was Kim Deal on vox doesn't make you an idiot. These days, a guest vocalist could sneeze at the end of a track and get a songwriting credit. Things were different back in these days, where you had to read the fine print on a CD sleeve to find out what we know now in about 1.4 seconds. Just be glad you know about UVS and Kin Deal for that matter. A lot of people don't.

The Breeders still make brilliant albums. Pixies maybe not so much. I just discovered this band and absolutely LOVE ALL three albums. Did Stone Roses rip the sound off they had on Rev? There’s a couple of tracks that have a huge Love Spreads vibe.
I found that Graveyard Hill was kinda a return to form. I still don’t really know if it’s just Stockholm syndrome or if my brains been hypnotised by Francis Black’s haunting screams or if it’s great but I liked it.

Yeah, I too find the other version of the video (with just the two of them) much, much better...although other than a very poor quality rendition, I can't seem to find it on RUclips. Kim's ultra-cute smile & cozy nuzzling against Kurt's neck just kills me every time. Damn, it's hard to believe this song is approaching 30 years!
