The joy evident in her after Josephine played Charles’ “breakdown” part and everyone comes back in… she was really feeding off the crowd’s energy and giving it right back. Wonderful to see and hear.
The breeders are having a whale of a time compared to the lifeless husk that is modern pixies . Sad I wish Frank continued with the catholics they were putting out some great tunes.
Post reunion Pixies’ recorded output has been incredibly painful to listen to. It’s boring and dreadfully dull. I was never a fan of Charles’ music after he disbanded Pixies. Just never resonated with me. Breeders I have always liked. To me Pixies is Come On Pilgrim to Trompe Le Monde and that’s that.
Agree. It sounded pretty terrible in person, boomy and woolly, almost painful, indistinct vocals, etc -- was amazed how much better it sounded on this recording.
Just a friendly reminder that Kim is 63 years old. I think she has found the fountain of youth.
Kim's a Bass queen❤❤
Sure her and Black Francis wrote this song, but this is HER song! Kim Deal is a ROCK GODDESS!!!
Kim’s bass was so powerful in this. They meant every note they played. Fantastic gig.

One of the best songs of Kim Deal, great band, so much positive energy

If Frank had continued with the Catholics Dave and Joey would have been unemployed
Bummed that Kim left the Pixies but happy for the rest of them that they are still making music and touring and that the Breeders are too.

Just made our Glastonbury that bit more special, the band of the week. Only seen her with pixies so very happy
Love this 🌞 the acoustics in the albert hall are dreadful though - this sounds great
