the best way to do sync+half full is actually looking at the non-glowing platform, as the non-glowing swords are safe spots (glowing and non-glowing swords are mutually exclusive pattern), find the non-glowing platform and adjust according to the cleave
Thank you so much for this guide! After a couple hours of progging while following it, I was able to see enrage; the next day, I was able to reliably farm the fight. (Haven't gotten the wings yet but it's just a matter of persistence!)
This was one of those times when i felt that the normal was far far too easy in comparison to the extreme and wish that they added little extra oomf to the normal for the first run of things
One thing that really helps me is the fact that there are many attacks which can be solved by just sticking together with the crowd (such as Forward/Backward Half, and the Sync/Greater Gateway phase up until the triangle markers appear over your heads). For my first few clears I just told myself to follow the crowd for those, and instead mostly focused on remembering the mechanics where I have to spread out or split off from the party.
I want to say "Yes play it" as long as you do so with full understanding that this fight is at the very end of a game that is now well over 300 hours of story. That's just MSQ across a base game and 5 expansions. Sure, you can pay to skip the base and last 4 expansions and could probably speedrun the latest expansion in about 24h, but this game is more about the journey than the destination. The content is never time gated and you can usually find groups running older content often. Besides, this fight is not the best one. Some fights from earlier expansions are way better than this. "[Cough cough] Free trial that includes base Game and first 2 expansions with zero time limits on play." TL:DR Play it by all means, but know that there's no real rush or FOMO. The content will still be there for you. Try the game for free... Get absorbed by it.. And if you are still hungry by the end of Sormblood.. Sub to the game then.

lol I'm glad you included the player getting yeeted by the tornado because they didn't angle correctly. Accurate to my experience as well.
I always like to wait for your tutorials because they’re so detailed and easy to understand! Thank you!
Just an FYI for sync, if you look for non glowing swords, those are safe spots.
wow thats pro tip!
I've missed your guides, Mizz. Welcome back.

How do you intercept the lines as a tank?
Get in between the person with the line and the boss.
It jumps to you.
I'll definitely need to watch this a couple times but it doesn't seem as bad as I thought it'd be.
The queen is baack
Davis William Davis Sharon Harris Larry
I can't wait until I can unsync solo this fight because that's the only way I will realistically ever be able to do this.
You should give it a try honestly. Its not that bad... Most of the time you stick to the crowd ^^
one of the easier exs tbh
😆
This game looks pretty good. Might have to check it out
Yeah, it's all right, I have 2500 hours in it so far and I like it
