Hi, Tina!!! Isn't that pink silver ghost incredible???? I think it's soooo beautiful. I bet your owl cookie jar is amazing (I love owl things). My cookie jar isn't vintage (well maybe technically now it is since it's almost 20 years old LOL. There is a thrift store that I go to that someone dropped off their entire cookie jar collection and there are soooo many cool ones. I'm always tempted to get one but I really don't need another cookie jar LOL. I could easily collect them though. Sounds like we are having similar weather. We had rain on Christmas day. I'll take the rain too...the trees/bushes/grass need it. It's been pretty dry around here. Most of our snow seems to come closer to spring which is so odd to me :). We are a little behind, Jen had pneumonia and had to take care of herself for about a week and a half. We are slowly getting caught back up because I won't watch them without her. Thank you so much for this recipe. It is good for autoimmune and I have that problem. Jen is going to make them for us. I feel like when we are gone our plants (some of them anyways....the more finicky ones LOL) can tell we are gone and they do suffer. That's why I don't leave LOL. I'm sure I'd come home to a few very unhappy plants. I hope you enjoy the cookies if you make them :).

Merry Christmas Gena, wanted to give you an update on my Beef Steak Begonia cutting. It is doing wonderful. I potted parts in soil and one leaf that I was going to toss but stuck in water and to my surprize is showing roots. Thank you for this video and loved watching you and Derek bake. Hoya decipulae is on my wish list. I was thinking Linearis would be your favorite too. It's so beautiful! I'm waiting for the peduncles on mine to bloom.
The decipulae is outstanding...you'll love it! Last year the linearis was my number 2. It was a tough choice between it and my obovata. This year it made it to number one :). It's the blooms. The blooms make it even more beautiful than it already is. I hope yours opens soon!!!!!
You are so cute guys!! 😍😊 I always bake cookies with almond flour and some other ingredients and they’re delicious, I’ll try your recipe and I’ll just add a pinch of salt like we do for all cakes and cookies (it enhances the flavour!). Happy new year 🎉🥰
Thank you!!! Oh yes...a bit of salt does enhance the cookies. I actually will sprinkle some salt on top before I eat it. We use unsalted almond butter and there is no salt in the recipe. Derek prefers no salt so I just sprinkle a tiny bit on top :). Happy New Year!!!

Happy belated Christmas. I love Hoyas but the constant pest pressure is too much to handle for me. I got mealey bugs and could never get rid of them no matter what I tried. The only Hoyas that seem immune to them are the thick stem/leaf varieties like the Kerri and Obavata. I got rid of pretty much most of my Hoyas since I couldn’t win the war on mealey bugs.
Thank you...happy belated to you as well :). I hear that a lot about Hoyas and mealy bugs. I've been lucky to not have had an issue with them. But I totally see why that is a common problem. Several times I've found mealy bugs on new Hoya plants (and other genus too) that I've brought in. You have to isolate for several weeks because they'll pop up many weeks after bringing the new plant home. This is part of the reason I prefer to buy cuttings (unrooted) when bringing new Hoyas into my collection. Not only do you get the joy of watching it grow from the very beginning, but you also avoid mealy bugs!!!!
