It's all in her D score. She just really needs to upgrade her last tumbling pass from a double tuck. Or make her double pike her dismount and make her third pass more difficult.
I agree that there's not much difficulty in here but this is something that you want to watch again and again. I feel like the double pike had slow motion but it was not. 😊
I like this floor routine for her and it's certainly miles and miles better than her 2012 one. You can tell she's really been working on presentation and it's done her good. It's very watchable. But she desperately needs to upgrade her tumbling. I guess I should be happy she's not still doing a double full like it's 1976.
her score was lower...due to separation of legs twice on two different tumbling passes and failure to stick two passes. Even though she does Arabian double front to stag jump...it was obvious she over rotated the Arabian double...so judges took off on that...nice dance. Last tumbling pass was weak for international gymnastics...Compare her passes to Simone's...two full ins, double layout back pass and double layout with 1/2...sick good and hard and she stuck them.
Kyla is elegant, but her routines are not difficult enough. Until she is a bit more risky and willing to throw in some harder tricks, gymnasts with higher difficulty are going to over shadow her.
