I lost my manual for this thermometer and I replaced the batteries, now I can’t figure out how to switch to F from C... Any help with that?

      From Amazon Q&A section:
      Question:
I’ve had this for a while but changed the batteries and it’s back to celsius. how do i switch it to f? i no longer have instructions
      Answer:
Dear, change the battery will return to the factory mode. In the off state, press the "MOD" about 6s, the LCD will show "---℃" (---℉), then press the "MOD" can switch the unit you want ^_^

A 2° - 3° variance is significant especially if the other instrument has not been calibrated. The video wasn't helpful as you did not demonstrate the correct procedure for measurement. That would be the most important piece of information. Thanks for trying anyway.

Between the forehead, mouth, and ear there are going to be variances and as for the demo... you stick it in your ear... it doesn't get much simpler than that. Sorry, it wasn't useful and thanks for commenting with constructive criticism.

Again, 2° - 3° variance is significant and shouldn't be dismissed.

@@richhughes2225 As stated the will be a variance, realistically it should only be about 1 degree so I am not disagreeing with the amount just one has to expect a possible difference between the area measured. Also, every manufacturer will likely have variances, like a sphygmometer the algorithm varies from one maker to another the same way a fitness band will count different steps from one brand to another. Dismissed would be bad sure but knowing to expect some differences is to be expected.
Personally, I really think oral for adults/kids and rectal for babies is probably the absolute best choice.

    totally useless review.

It's a thermometer, it was used, compared, works... it's pretty simple as devices go so really not much else needed. Thanks for commenting, however, it'd be a better comment (not "totally useless") if it had even a hint content explaining what your expectation would be for future reference.
