Peter Greens Fleetwood Mac are the only band that makes me wish that I was 10 years older and that I could have seen them live. I include Hendrix, The Beetles, eary Lep Zep and so many more... RIP Peter & Danny
..i can only imagine what it would've been like to catch Peter and Danny jamming off of each other.. but at least we have awesome tracks like this that they left us.. thankyou for sharing it.. 🙂
It is so great............................................................................da rocke ich noch im Altersheim drauf ab .....aber sowas von...
The real Fleetwood Mac as I remember them and grew up with. Nothing like the slick and polished band it became. No Stevie Nicks or Christine McVie etc. It was a British bluesband that evolved into an American - British pop band, and I always thought it was a shame. Nothing wrong with a pop band, but to me it was never meant to be that way.
And what about Christine being a session keyboardist probably since 1968 and being a member since 1971 while the band was still considered rather as a more bluesy than pop?
@@davidglow3 true very true and such a shame but there's no stopping time is there.. did you see any of Mick Fleetwood's concert for Peter?? it was good to see Jeremy Spencer! 🙂 and Christine mcvie.. she played with Peter.. (sure you know 🙂)
In a corner of the UK, called Hartlepool, where Jeremy Spencer comes from, we used to see the ORIGINAL Fleetwood Mac (like these) on many occasions at a small place called Redcar Jazz Club. SSSSensational.
kimbalxyz2 - are you sure? MsVie Mac is another band totally different but ok it’s nice too if one like’s softy softy why not in between. But actually THIS is the real FM _ no doubts...! OMG THIS IS AWESOME
trivia122, this is a poor example of Peter Green's magic, but to say "tone deaf", well, that must be showing your ignorance. Led Zep IS the greatest overall, but even Page is very fond of Green's playing, especially "Stop messin' me around". Listen to "Jumpin' at Shadows" to hear what Pagey knows.
+rik helgason You're totally right but I think that PG was much better guitarist than JP (it's only my opinion, obviously...). And listening to "I've Got A Mind To Give Up Living" is a mystical experience
+Mario Fiorentini Page was easily a better guitarist but Green did things no one else could but it was too brief to compare...I cant imagine yelling out eric is god to pg and then hearing him play and sing I'd be embarrassed...But even Clapton outlasted green he just wasn"t meant to last as they say his star was to bright
@@zekayman Lol, he stole all the time, Dazed n Confused open theft for an immediate example...He rearranged his thefts, but melody, lyrics, etc from Dazed n Confused is total rip.off....Look it up...

I'm pretty sure Christine was on board for keyboards and backing vocals here

P. Green #3 guitarist of all time seems about right although listening to this I can't remember the other two....
insane live, can't get bored of it
Now THAT is rock n' roll
Superb photo of the band in London late 1960s..The photos evoke the sense of time and place brilliantly
Danny kirwan so young 🙂

McVie n Mac SAME dude...You meant MICK...
Awesome!
This is what you get when you mix blues with 50s rock n roll.
I SAID-A JENNY JENNY JENNY, WON'T YOU COME ALONG WIH' ME?!?!
I think in this song Spencer is the leading person this time. They gave eachother leading-time. Very Democratic until then. It' s rocking good.
All Green this track...Singing n playing lead...

Whatever happened to Danny Kirwan and Peter Green? They were so talented. Stay away from the drugs kids. That shit will ruin all your gifts.
