ArmoredPP You are correct. I based my inspiration on the original story to the song and wanted to twist the perspective of following this person only to realize that she was basically stealing and the inhabitants were trying to stop her and protect what was theirs. Glad to see someone caught that.

8 months. It could have been quicker but I wasn't at it as much as my 1812 Overture one (which took 3 weeks). Point is they do take a long time to make and this prevents me from uploading them frequently but I am in the works of a new one now.
Haha, thanks. It took 8 months to be more specific though technically it was very "on and off" with the work. Probably about a month worth of animating had I put in full daily effort. It's honestly just something I like to do and want to make a series out of. If people start to like them and they grow then awesome. But they do take a long time so I can't really keep up with a daily upload schedule to fight the RUclips algorithms :p I am in the early stages of a new one though right now so looking forward to it.
Teaching would be rather difficult over a RUclips comment. But as for information in my process, I drew all assets in Adobe Illustrator and animated in Adobe After Effects. I listen to the song several times mentally getting a story idea of what is happening in the music and timestamp my ideas with notes breaking it up into scenes. After storyboarding I animate each scene as a separate project file and in the end connected them all together into one video. Hardest part is probably making all the custom transitions since they are separate files but it was an enjoyable challenge none-the-less.

Technically one could argue it's Peer Gynt, but my character is simply a fabrication of my own personal artistic rendition of the piece of music based loosely on the original story.
