I think it's called buzzfeed. Zing!
Dev 1: Hey guys... should we pass the build to Q&A team for play testing?
Dev 2: Nah, just send it to Josh
That's what I'm here for! I legit love breaking games.
Do you mean QA?
Question and answers team sounds right to me
that would be a good idea actually, the ultimate test for every game :D and satisfactory is still the only game that does not want to crash haha
The testers generally aren't the problem, it's usually the people who prioritize what gets fixed.
The duo of world-ending phrases:
“New game, dammit!” and “Welcome back to Let’s Game it Out!”
Sadly, "new game, dammit!' is no longer a thing gray says
@@j.hawkins8779 he says it occasionally i think
@@randomaccount8020 he mostly said it when murdering all of, but he rarely does that any more
"Alright, so we're checking out the only game that........"

This was an interesting documentary about Buzzfeed. More people need to see this
sadly, the money glitch got patched out, so buzzfeed isn't able to make money anymore :P
@@Bjorick he means MSM in general
In theory, this game lets you take out a one million dollar loan and build your massive news company all in one day
Yeah! Once I realized you could take out a loan I knew it'd get exciting.
small loan of a million dollars
@@miniyodadude6604 I was just about to comment that!
@@miniyodadude6604 It was a small loan of $1 million dollars to create a massive multimedia news outlet that only produces fake news.
Did you ever pay the loan back?
I've faced a "Josh", when releasing my 1st video game online, more than 10 years ago.
The day after he signed-in was spectacular!
That's the moment I fell in love with "beta-testers", for their incredible ability to destroy everything you thought so hard was perfectly bullet-proof.
That can make some creators depressed, but some others (like me) have the biggest laughs of their lives from it!
Please, keep hilariously breaking games, Josh, we love you xD
YES, when i release my 1st games im contacting josh
Which one
That should be the official term for destruvtive playtesters: "Joshes"
@@tevvytevvy2672 agree with you! lol
If I ever have a contract to make a game, I'm making a part of it "give to Josh for beta testing"
9:42 "Imagine if you got a weekly magazine and it had like 200 articles in it. There's just no possible way to read all of this in a week..."
The Economist: *ahem*.... "Hi"
LMAO.
"too many heap sections" means it tried to create too many objects at once, or a single object tried to grow past 4gig of ram btw. probably got overwhelmed by spawning all the article buttons to drag around :P
LoL your 10,000 article newspaper overloaded the allocated memory some how. It's an encyclopedia of every single thing that happened every where that week.
But it was all fake
I'm not surprised, looks like this Unity game was poorly coded/made.
Guys it was a joke if you didnt realize
@Ethan McCaskey Agreed. I myself love using Unity and have already made two games using it.
Maybe it's a 32-bit process that only had 2 GB available because it didn't set the IMAGE_FILE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE flag. Even with the flag it would only have 3 GB. It's still insane that it required that much memory.
Great stuff. You have a special talent for making these bad games very entertaining.
Thanks! Buggy games are honestly the best for messing around. It's a total delight to find some unintentional money glitch.
bad games? This isn't even that bad, its a cheap game and entertaining enough to pass the time.
and breaking them too

@Dmg Scrub Fox News is communist? Do you live in South Sudan or something, Fox News is still the most right wing mainstream media
@Dmg Scrub or just every news station lie for their own agenda...
@Dmg Scrub you mean spastic trump supporters hate fox because fox had the audacity to have to state one irrefutable truth, that trump lost his election.
That's the only reason people like you have an issue with fox, because you like to be lied to if it makes you feel like you matter.
10:27 This is actually true for news agencies and online newspapers. Every journalist there writes about 25 articles a day. I know, I've been there. It's not fun at all. Caught a serious case of burnout in 4 months. Then forced myself to work there for another year. In a year and 4 months that I worked there I personally wrote about 7000 articles. I haven't even finished university yet and I already don't want to be a journalist anymore xD
And people wonder why there’s so much clickbait. This is why. Nearly every “news” outlet cares more about quantity than quantity or truth.
@@justicedunham4088 Clickbait is a big no-no for news agencies actually. When I worked for one I wrote short news articles. They were 600 characters or under so they had to be right to the point. And every article had to be cited with proper sources. News agencies are usually the first source of news so they can't use clickbait or they lose credibility. Can't say the same about newspapers though, they use some very creative stuff.
The thing is that there's so much stuff happening every minute and news agencies need to write about it right away so other news outlets source them, that's how they get clicks, not from clickbait. They just need to staff more people but they're greedy and are overworking and underpaying their journalists.

Operating systems allocate two different kinds of memory. Heap and stack.
Heap memory is hierarchically organised, the stack is linear. Heaps typically keep track of global variables, whereas the stack is used for local variables.
And, more importantly, the freeing of memory (when a variable is nog longer needed) is done automatically for the stack. But not so for the heap.
Your little error-message had the word "gc" in it. Which stands for "garbage collection". That's the process that is intended to clean up the free memory.
