    BONUS TIP: Don't jump other cars with your 12 volt battery (and vice versa), as it could damage the high voltage battery pack.

    Don't forget to refill windshield washer fluid reservoir.

    You might want to add to your information about tire replacement: All tires have a production date on them and depending on what recommendation you follow...you'll want to replace your tires after about 6 years. That also comes into consideration when buying tires..check the production date so that you're not buying old vs newly produced tires. This information of course applies to the owners who don't drive their car(s) as often as most. Great video!

    I still drive a gas car, service every 6-12 mos, every time the mechanic gives me a laundry list of things to fix, it take me another 6-12 mos, then the cycle begins, sick of it !!!!!

      I get it! It's definitely nice to have a simpler maintenance routine

    What about changing battery coolant.

      Good question. You shouldn’t have to change it unless you get a notification for it. That is something you can ask about though if you schedule a service appointment before your warranty expires

    About tire rotation, how to handle the MYP?

    • @tesbros
      @tesbros  10 месяцев назад

      I do the cross method (aka x pattern) for my Model Y. Some tires are rotation sensitive, meaning they have a certain way they have to be rotated or some can't be rotated at all. So, make sure you check that too. Here is our tire maintenance video if you want to learn more about that: ruclips.net/video/ShTbw6E-N6g/видео.html

      @@tesbrosMYP variant's front and rear wheels are different sizes, I don't think X cross method works

      MYP can only swap sides on the front and rears.

      Oh yeah, you're right. If the rear tires are a different size than the front tires, then yes the only option is rotating side to side. Some tires are fixed and can't be rotated at all though.
