    Hi Sir, Can you please explain on below also,
    1. How much is the differential pressure setting in the fan pressure switch.What will happen if the differential pressure increases or decreases.
    2. Is there any insulation or coating or painting on the ducts.
    3. What is the Smacna standard for these ducts.(Duct guage etc).
    4. Is this a fire rated duct.
    5. In which case we use centrifugal fan and in which case we use for axial flow fans for pressurisation systems.

    Great video sir.
    In this video it is shown the parallel and series condition for staircase doors but we mostly use single door in staircase. So it will be considered series or parallel?

    1. The velocity to be considered while designing stair case duct.
    2. Can you please explain the calculations for liftwell and lift lobby also. What will be the difference while designing lift well and lift lobby pressurisation fans.
    3. Also if possible can you please explain one design of stair case duct and its esp calculations for fan selection.

    Very informative.... but when less then 3 doors open ... then in this case .. what Vmax we can take ???

      Airflow velocity of not greater than 200fpm through doors open as per design. If you consider 2 doors or one door in design of one floor.

      I have inform in video velocity 200fpm at 3 doors because in example have 3 doors in one floor.

    3 doors open in single floor or 3 doors open multiple floors ? Which one we need to consider ?

      Design considerations are focused on a single-story layout. Nevertheless, in real-world applications, the available infrastructure will be adapted and utilized as needed.

    1. Wall perimeter actually 2(17 + 28) x 2 + 2(17 + 48)x2 hona chahiye.

    So 48x28x17 ft is the area of staircase lobby or the whole floor area ?
    8 sq ft of grill area is the effective air flow area or overall grill size?
    Exhaust/relief air of 9973cfm is for 5 floors combined or per floor ?
    if per floor then exhaust grilles should be sized for (9973/5) cfm ?

      1. 48x28x17 is the area of staircase lobby of single floor
      2. 8 sq.ft is grill area of single floor
      3. Relief air damper to be used single for all floor, this 9973cfm flow is for this.

      Lift Well has one outlet therefore grill size shall be according to duct plus safety factor of pressure drop.

    Sir, can u clarify on below
    1. Relief vent is set at 0.1 inch which is lower than our design differential pressure of 0.37! With this arrangement the relief vent will always be open! Can u clarify.
    2. Max. Design Differential pressure to be maintained in the question was 0.037 whereas in your calculation you considered 0.37! 0.037 is typo error?
