Hi Rick! 4K is a big collection. I hover around 1.2K these days plus CDs. It’s amazing what we have in our respective collections yet don’t always revisit. Interesting video from the Vinylarium!
@@MGKBOSTON Thx Mike. My recent purge has me down to a slim 3,850 records and 1,900 CDs and maybe 100 cassettes…but who is counting? I am literally out of room so albums eventually get replaced by things I deem more enjoyable. Hey, I thought I was subbed to your channel, but guess not. Just subbed or subbed again.
@@rickandrecords If you like hard rock I recommend you check out the Warning, they are a rock power trio and their albums don't have any bad songs. Live in concert is were they shine. You can check them out here on YT they have their own channel. Very interesting and informative video. Thank you
@@twangersturntable I always listen to whatever I get new right away unless it’s a lot or haul of 5 or more, but that will still be what I listen to next even if it takes a few days. It helps that I get up very early. I can usually listen to three albums before work, 1 at lunch and at least 2 after. Some days more. Thx Mark. Have a good one.
@@rickandrecords Much the same for me. Recent purchases get priority. Most days however I only get time for one...maybe two lp's. Weekends without the grandkids are different. Then it's mostly all I do. Later Rick!
@@SDsailor7 Sorry, I was referring to Trytan live. They don’t have an overly impressive visual show with props and lights and pyrotechnics and all that, but they sound very, very good live. Never saw them in person, but was referring to their live concert footage on RUclips.
@@rickandrecords Ah ok got it. Thank you for clarifying it. So, have you heard about the Warning music/band? They have been around for ten years and have 4 albums and one EP. They have their RUclips channel. I would recommend to you the songs "Evolve" live at the MTV VMA's awards2023, "Disciple" at the Pepsi center CDMX live 2023, Dust to Dust/dull knives also from the Pepsi center. And last but not least their cover of Metallica's enter sandman also from the Pepsi center that cover is on Metallica's blacklist album that commemorates the black album. Let me know what you think of the music and their concert. Cheers
I have a copy of A Vision Shared. I listened to it twice, but maybe it need another spin. Sadly, I do have some records that I have not yet listened to!
@@EmbryonicRobot I think that’s probably the norm for anyone with a larger collection. I have had plenty of records bought by or given to me that were listened to just once and then given away or sold since I didn’t care for them. So technically speaking there are fails for me but I just don’t own them anymore.
