    Good video but I was really hoping to see how you removed the sensor connections. I’m struggling with both in order to remove the filter for cleaning.

      I would make sure there is no trash/dirt trapped in there because the connection pops right off after giving the tabs a squeeze!

    Have been looking at the roush intake for a year now for my 2021 5.0 until recently. Now im torn between the roush intake and this s and b one.

      Disconnect your battery and let it sit for 30m then reconnect the battery. Wait until the next fillup before you start tracking Mpg again. Do it manually, not the vehicles reading. It’s also possible it’s just environmental changes.

      I too have noticed a drop in mpg. Mainly because I now run e85 and keep the pedal to the floor. On a serious note, I didn't experience a change in MPG when we initially did this install. Probably because I have been driving highway miles, something like 100+ miles one way almost daily, on cruise control being as consistent as I humanly could.

    I installed mine and left the box off. Gets more air and makes a little more power and sounds insane!

      Removing the box means your motor is receiving hot engine bay air at atmospheric pressure (possibly even under a vacuum due to the truck’s aerodynamics) reducing filter efficiency = less power. The box allows the ram air snorkel to not only provide cooler moving air, but it also applies positive pressure to the filter improving flow. Put your box in.

      @@MurphysLawGarage I mean there are people that have done back to back dynos minutes apart and it made more power. YDBT is an example. It’s limited pretty bad through the small slot under the hood. My truck is tune only with an unboxed cold air running 12’s. 🤷🏻‍♂️

      A dyno run would not accurately test air pressure’s effect on flow/temps because the vehicle is static with only fans blowing at it.

      @@MurphysLawGarage yeah I get what you’re saying. However my draggy showed about a tenth of a difference on average. I tried it with and without the box installed. I only mentioned the dyno video because that’s where I got the idea from.

      Need some scientific testing to figure that out. Is your truck tuned for an intake?

    Unfortunately the filter is upside down 😂. Easy fix. Only makes a difference because you can see it with the window.

    It’s too bad the filter so small I might’ve just gone with a green filter and called it today or AEM

      @MurphysLawGarage oh good. That gives me a better chance of being at least that fast, lol. I bought a dragy but havent had a chance to try it. I have a 20' SCREW v8, 3.73 with 275/70/18. Just slightly taller then stock 32. A tire calc said 33" And a flowmaster fx cat back. Its how i got the truck. And its a 6.5 bed. So ive seen magazines do 14.5 1/4, but with shrt bed and unknown gear and fuel used. So i have 2 things holding me back. The longer bed, more weight, and taller tires. Im hoping truck is at least 14.6 or 14.7. I have a feeling ill be disappointed., lol. Id hope for that on 87. Ive seen vids on youtube with people doing 13.7s with 93 and tune, and 13.3s with e85 and tune. Im not gonna be WOT everytime. Though its hard not to really. Its just nice to know u have it. The car its replacing is 14.1ish so 13s would be nice, lol
      Ill be buying Omega X tune for black friday and a CAI, debating between s&b, pmas and jlt. Oz is recommending jlt or pmas. Anyway, thanks for your video im very curious to see how you do with tune. I forgot did u mention in video if u were on 87 or 93. Also redo the exhaust draggy video please.
