I hope everyone is enjoying the trapping series so far! Next video on the channel will be an overnight winter camping trip with Goose!! Stay tuned and thanks for watching!! 🏕🔥🌲👍
Thanks!! Now I'm hungry & homesick here in B.C. Another month and I'll be back on the Rock for holidays doing the same. Great video as always! Thanks for taking all of us along.
We love watching the trapping series. Your videos show so many ways to enjoy nature and we will continue to follow these lovely sceneries. People need to get out and enjoy nature and really LIVE. That's where all the excitement is. Keep the videos coming. We love them
Grew up in Newfoundland but only get home for the odd vacation so I'm living vicariously through the the videos you put out there. Reminds me so much of my youth. Thanks for doing this and keep em coming.
Thanks for taking the time to share your adventures. I look forward to seeing new videos. I'm glad you are sticking to your traditions in regards to hunting and not caving to others opinions. Do your own thing because once you start trying to please all viewers then you don't enjoy your own freedom. Look forward to you next video
Thanks for the lesson on the 17R wasn't farmiliar with them. Another awesome day in the woods! The hell with the nay sayers......you be you and carry on forward.
Great video buddy. Lots of us having trouble with the snares. Thanks for the Shout-out. Don't forget to let me know when you get more of your hoodies in !
No need to explain your self, on what you choose to film, or how you live your life. Your respect for the wilderness and it’s wild life is apparent! Thanks for the extra work to bring us along.. very best 🍻
Another great video Robert, keep em coming. Really appreciate the different types of outdoor activities you put out to show what outdoor living is all about in Newfoundland and Labrador. You can’t please everyone so chin up. Already looking forward to the next one.
Awesome video. Long story short, I showed my father one of your videos, and it got us interested in setting a few snares (first time in 23 yes). A few boil ups and 8 rabbits later it has been a good Christmas break. Of note, we bought our 22 ga brass wire at OP in mount pearl and have not had a single broken snare. Maybe it is bad wire you have, just a thought.
Awesome buddy!! Glad to hear you are having some good success with the rabbit snaring!! Yeah, I think I need to grab a new spool of wire and give that a try! Thanks for watching!! 👍👍
Great day outdoors Robert, a great meal there for the pot. with your coyote snares put a small dry stick under the snare the coyote don't like getting there nose scratched. he will left his head up in the snare. great boil up just love fish cakes. have a great weekend
Nice video Rob and a great day in the woods. Looks like you had a good feed. You're right about the Labs and their appetite but you'll never find a better tempered dog. Don't worry about the negative comments. There's always somebody complaining about something. Keep your focus on those of us that appreciate your great work :). As always, lookimg forward to the next adventure.
You enjoy what you do so to me that’s the important part. Like previous comments say you can’t please everyone, and it’s their choice to watch. Keep the videos coming, the negative people can produce their own videos if they like yours. Cheers
Keep putting up what you like. If they don't like it make their own or watch something else. Some people all they have is to complain on the internet. Your life style and all your videos are great keep up all your hard work
Great video!!!! Wow….Mollie is sure growing fast. Another good feed over the fire and those fish cakes looked honey sweet!!! Looking forward to seeing your next trip 👍
Excellent video as always. Totally enjoy all your content, I especially like that you include all of your outdoor activities including trapping. Love the cookups and I could taste those fish cakes, a good Newfoundland tradition. Looking forward to your next video.
You have a lot of fans Rob, don't let the couple bad apples bother you.. Mind over matter.... Those that mind, don't matter... Those that matter, don't mind! keep up the great videos...
love the trapping videos, like you said its not about the fur, its about getting outside. The subscribers that you lost well good riddance, trapping is our heritage our way of life. good to see you out there having fun. trap on
Most folks that shoot the 17 HMR find it very destructive on meat targets. Most of these shooters prefer the 22 rimfire magnum over the 17 HMR for hunting smaller game you want to have as table fair. If they feel that the 22 rimfire long rifle is not enough fire power.
I hope all those negative comments are from vegans 😂 actually I know some vegans totally agree with hunting rather than buying meat. You just do whatever you want and keep it authentic to you. I don't like seeing dead wolves personally, so I would just not watch that episode if there was one. Keep up the good work buddy. About your gun, does it cost more for bullets and initial purchase than a .22?

Cut a small piece of bough or a stick and stick it in the ground under the snare, that way the rabbit won't duck under.
Thanks for the tip! 👍

Thanks! Not sure about the cost of the gun itself versus a .22 but the ammo is definitely more expensive than .22 LR.
