@@orbitplumbingno fault of your instructions but I tried 4 times today but it won't light... I waited between and followed instructions.. might have to call a gas plumber after all 🤷🏻♀️
Is this a thermann? Mine just started leaking today squirting water from the top. Does this mean I have to replace it with a new water tank? Or is it repairable?
That is slightly incorrect. The unit automatically sits at 65° to make sure bacteria can not grow. The dial actually makes the unit go a bit harder but that also increases the temperature a little bit. You would not want your water over 50° at the tap as that can become very dangerous. In Australia they need to be fitted with a tempering valve at the hot water outlet. This mixes a touch of cold water in with the very hot water to bring the temp down to a safe level. You cant really make the water hotter than what you recieve from the unit on max setting.
Just saved me a call out fee thank you
Your very welcome
Thank you for this. Never dealt with a has HWS and this solved my problem. Thanks for making it so clear
Thanks for watching
Mate! You helped this English gal, with a completely different unit, relight the pilot. Thanks so much 👏👏👏

Thanks heaps! I managed to light it up following your instructions! Yay! 😀👍
Thanks for watching. Much appreciated!
Thank you! Finally a decent demo. I was scared the flame was too big but it looks the same so I think I can do it now and not be afraid to blow up 😬🤞
So glad it helped you!

I cant see the flame around that white thing on mine?
It sounds like your piezo might not be working
Can U pls tell us how to turn stop leaking water in this heater
If it's leaking water, there's a high possibility the tank hus rusted through and it needs to be replaced. Where is the water coming from?
@@orbitplumbing it's from upper side I saw near outside downwards below the ignition button
I have same water heater
Yes it sounds like the tank has burst mate. Sorry but that is not fixable. You will need a new unit
I had mine off for over a year... now I can’t get the pilot to light! Ideas?
Very Informative, Thanks
Amazing thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks mate it helps!
ok you said that the dial doesn't increase the temperature of the water. So what does ??

Thanks bro
No worries at all
Thanks alot
When I release it, the flame goes off 😔
Either you’re not holding it long enough... or the thermocouple needs replacement.
