    Thank you! Finally a decent demo. I was scared the flame was too big but it looks the same so I think I can do it now and not be afraid to blow up 😬🤞

    Is this a thermann? Mine just started leaking today squirting water from the top. Does this mean I have to replace it with a new water tank? Or is it repairable?

    Can U pls tell us how to turn stop leaking water in this heater

    • @orbitplumbing
      @orbitplumbing  Год назад

      If it's leaking water, there's a high possibility the tank hus rusted through and it needs to be replaced. Where is the water coming from?

      Yes it sounds like the tank has burst mate. Sorry but that is not fixable. You will need a new unit

    ok you said that the dial doesn't increase the temperature of the water. So what does ??

    • @orbitplumbing
      @orbitplumbing  3 года назад

      That is slightly incorrect. The unit automatically sits at 65° to make sure bacteria can not grow. The dial actually makes the unit go a bit harder but that also increases the temperature a little bit. You would not want your water over 50° at the tap as that can become very dangerous. In Australia they need to be fitted with a tempering valve at the hot water outlet. This mixes a touch of cold water in with the very hot water to bring the temp down to a safe level. You cant really make the water hotter than what you recieve from the unit on max setting.

      Either you’re not holding it long enough... or the thermocouple needs replacement.
