I think that may be my first comment on RUclips, but I had to say this : Icicle is one of the best tutors on sound design i've ever seen. Clear, concise and obviously skilled and meticulous. Thank you for that.
I guess Im randomly asking but does someone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot the account password. I love any tips you can give me!
@Shane Azariah thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
It's all explained so detailed (as time allows) and so easy to follow him in his actions and explanations. Great Producer AND great Tutor i think! ;) keep it up
It's not Foley. It's Found Sound. Foley is specific to film sound: Jack Foley Born Jack Donovan Foley April 12, 1891 Yorkville, New York Died November 9, 1967 (aged 76) Los Angeles, California Nationality American Other names Joe Hyde (pen name)[1] Occupation Sound effect artist ("Foley artist"), humorist[1] Jack Donovan Foley (April 12, 1891 - November 9, 1967)[2] was the developer of many sound effect techniques used in filmmaking. He is credited with developing a unique method for performing sound effects live and in synchrony with the picture during a film's post-production. Accordingly, individuals engaged in this trade are called "Foley artists". He worked on pictures such as Melody of Love (1928), Show Boat (1929), Dat Ol' Ribber, Spartacus, and Operation Petticoat. For his work in Hollywood, Foley received the Motion Picture Sound Editors' Golden Reel Award.[1]
