Absolutely! And its no April fools joke. We truly feel we have changed the audio to video workflow that is faster than anything else out in the market!
Just 300 views is a crime. I didn’t know that there was this bridge over here… Had a question regarding iterations: suppose we use the Bounce mode to hop back into FCP (or if the example works too with the import project mode), how do we go about going back again to ADD to tweak an already audio designed piece? Say you add an extra shot in there and now would like to change to another longer track, tweak the fades and add a couple new sound fx? That said, man, keep these tutorials coming (time permitting), it’s a blast…
Great question! What I would recommend in this case is to always save your ADD session so you always have the original source you created for your audio and that way you can always refer back to the project if you aren't quite satisfied with the bounce. You can also drag your final cut pro project directly into the Audio Bridge extension and it will import all your sounds from your FCP timeline back into Audio Design Desk's timeline. That way you can always work back in forth in between both timelines in the event you would like to change any audio element. I Hope that cleared up your answer and if you have any other question, we're always happy to help!
@@audiodesigndesk ok, that’s a killer feature: whatever sound is there on an FCP’s project, when dragged into the ADD bridge, gets ported back into ADD. Which makes it more than perfect for what I was asking. Thanks for prompt follow up. No wonder the team has been winning all sorts of prizes and accolades.
I have a question/future request thought. When I am designing sound inside FCP with ADD for some reason I can’t hear the audio from my FCP timeline. For example I have a project with voice over inserted on my timeline, when I am inside ADD bridge I can’t hear the audio when previewing my timeline. I am only hearing the audio from the ADD. This was the main reason I didn’t extended my subscription, most of my projects are with A-Roll or voiceover so having that “future” is kind of dealbreaker for me.
Hey Goce! If you actually drag your FCP project into the ADD Audio Bridge extension, you will be given an option to send audio data from FCP directly into your ADD timeline. We are currently working on making the UI a little more clear on that, but that should fix that issue.
Yes the ADD audio Bridge does come with your purchase/subscription of Audio Design Desk. If its not automatically popping up under your extensions window in FCP, here is a link to our installation guide that might be able to help. If you look under the "Open ADD" section, you should also be able to see a dropdown arrow in Audio Design Desk to manually connect to Final Cut Pro in the event you don't see see the extension in FCP. I hope this guide fixes the problem and let us know if you still have any issues. We are always happy to help out! add.app/workflows-fcp/
@@audiodesigndesk Wish I had seen this post before I purchased the MAS version last night. Is there any additional to the MAS version over the one included with ADD?
@@PatrickMastersProductions hmm.. I'm not sure if I am familiar with a MAS version? could you provide a link to what you are referring to so I can look into it?
The freaking cursor doesn’t stop moving when you try to make an adjustments , there are also no sounds when you downloads, you say just press z, I did, no sounds, how about a more in depth tutorial on this not simple program
Where has this been all my life? You guys deserve wayyyy more exposure.
I had to double check, to see this wasn't some kind of 'April fool's' prank.
Mind blowing stuff! I will try it ASAP!
Thank you for this demonstration.

I will check this out for FCP
Let us know what you think! ADD 2.0 will also have integrations with Davinci Resolve and Premiere Pro
This is an absolute GAME CHANGER! This saves me so much time when adding audio to my videos! 🙌
Brilliant. Any plans to bring Audio Bridge to Resolve?
Yes! We just announced Audio Design Desk 2.0 with integrations with Resolve and Premiere!
How did you get the "bridge" into FCP? Thanks.
Man, I'm buying this immediately.
We hope you enjoy!
@D3CONd Bruh, I bought this the same day after commenting on this post. I haven’t really used it, but I did buy it.

Final cut is connected, moving the add cursor does not move the timeline cursor
i press z and it says No Files Found for Full Mix
Mind blown. Thank you.

Amazing very much required for FCPX
Is this an additional purchase for ADD users or is it included in our software because I cannot find this function?

How do you get the extension fixed inside Final Cut? Or is it floating above it? :)
It is just floating above FCP. Then minimized ADD's timeline to fit right over FCP's timeline :)
Amazing tutorial! Does ADD and the FCPX bridge work natively on Apple Silicone?
Absolutely! We also have our system requirements located here if you are looking for further information.
