I've watched this video sooo many times, just trying to find the spots on the Vedder you were fishing so I can enjoy myself with some trout fishing without being shoulder to shoulder with 70 year old men 😂

Lots of nice shots in there, good job. It's a lot of work to edit in all that B roll. I tried eating a whitefish this summer, was actually pretty good. Whitefish are actually the most numerous species in the river and can be found throughout, from the Canal up to the lake.

I fished the Vedder quite a bit, and yes it's busy, yeah it can be a gong show. But I've never seen a fight over a spot or even any arguments or bad vibes. I've met some of the friendliest most welcoming people out on the river, all willing to share space and knowledge, helping everyone bag out, taking turns. Even complete noobs are welcome as long as you show up humble and polite. It's amazing that despite how crowded it gets, 99% of the people I've met all agree that there's still plenty of river and fish for everyone! It's not "battle fishing" like they say when you're shoulder to shoulder, it's party fishing!

Yes I agree. It’s a nice way to socialize with people and people are very nice helping others. All about respecting each other. Party!

It's when the Fraser river is open to sockeye and Chinook that the snagging meat hunters come flossing with giant hooks and 20 foot leaders acting like assholes.....when it's open PEG LEG bar has many instances of aggression.....my friend's and I have been in fights twice and my friend who was a former enforcer and loan shark collector has thumped out a few while I have watched.....it happens....dont cast over top of a guy that is 250lbs with a smashed nose that has clearly stated he has a SPRING IN THE LINE.....dumbasses deserved it
Not on the true Vedder because flossing spots are rare and you actually have to know how to fish with roe, beads jigs and lures.......the snaggers are out of their element then
