- Yesterday I was able to improve my laptime to 7:25,3 min BTG. We changed the setup a little bit and now I become more and more familiar with the car. I have to fix the broken "VANOS" the next days, hopefully the engine will be a bit more powerful then..

What a lap, so smooth and calm. Unbelievable skills, most enjoyable on board lap of the ring that i have ever watched. And hearing the S50 B32 sing was great too. I'm on my second M3 and love them. Hope to go there sometime for a few laps in my E46 M3.
The tire rub sounds like a bus driver on the horn to pass. I keep on expecting Sabine in a van to come by you.
BTW, masterful driving!

I am just so amazed how calm the driving and steering and everything is. I see so many vids of people just throwing the car around and such hasty movements. This feels so relaxing to watch. AMAZING! I hope to see you driving around the ring soon and catch you around at the parking to look at it :D
The smoother you drive the lesser corrections you make, and potentially scrubbing a few seconds.

That’s an incredible video! I got chills watching it. That’s an enviable time for a 20 year old car that’s inline with much more expensive and exotic cars. I drove my brother-in-law’s 2003 M3 on the Francochamps track in Belgium many years ago. Thanks for posting that video.

yes! great! e36 m3 forever 😆👍i want my e36 m3 back 😆😭😆 and good point of time you had choose, only little traffic. I see the set up is great! Very good modificated e36 m3. I think the vanos problem is not so significant in the upper rpm.

That E36 looks so at home at the Nürburgring.. It's so stable and planted - looks like you have some amazing dampers and have the suspension really well tuned. No drama just fast and smooth progress, awesome driving too of course ;)

really great car and good driving, I just ordered a new vanos from BMW, can't wait to get it :) its the heart of the S50B32...my car was much more quicker 2years ago with rebuilded vanos but now it sux again.
I can only do this in Forza but it is my dream to drive the Nordschleife in a 36 m3. That sounds is pure heaven.

smooth driving and he gets away with a 7:25, can easily shave off 20 sec if driven hard given the race car specs of this e36

Agreed! I thought his braking was a bit conservative and with a little more aggressive pedal, he could indeed shave a good 10 seconds. However, he'd go through brakes and tires a lot faster so as a private owner, I get it that it that those 10 seconds means thrashing your car that much more. $$$$$

I have a few small sponsors for my racing, if we were bigger i would sponsor you myself but i'm already a small sponsor for a small team here in the UK, you should definitely race when you can when the funds allow some great driving there fella! wish you well and will be following whatever you end up doing.

If the vanos is really bad then you will get a lot of low end torque back, I did it on my 325 and now I feel like I have a new car around town haha

Spendier dem Motor doch ein Paar Schrick wellen 284/284 und eine Carbon Airbox. Richtig abgestimmt macht das nochmal einen großen Unterschied aus!
MPowerE36 ja würde einen großen Unterschied machen und sicher nochmal ein paar Sekunden bringen, aber er macht so auch schon genug Spaß :-)

what mods are done to the car?
Great laptime, impressive driving but what I don't understand is that you are wearing an autosport helmet, balaclava, raceshoes and gloves but not a fireproof racesuit.Crashing is crashing, it hurts as much on a trackday then in a real race. Protect yourself at all times, even with a HANS device which you obviously have as your helmet has the HANS clips.
Aside this safety note, great driving bud. I'll check out the instagram too. Keep it up.
