Waking up super early to get work done is super rewarding, and opens up your schedule. I have done plenty of model shoots the night before, woke up at 5 in the morning, and I'm finished editing everything by noon, then I get either the rest of the day off, or I can fit in some more work, which I otherwise couldn't have.

Me and my buds got up at 2 AM in the morning to go on a two hour drive to a beautiful port in Michigan called port Austin.
We legit went all that way for two shots and it was soooo worth it🤷🏼♂️

Some helpful tips when the dew point and the temperature are the same number that's how fog is created if you want a great fog shot you have to be at the spot you want before daybreak or you've already missed it⏳ another tip if you get a spray bottle and mist the paper it will burn slower and if you get the middle of the paper wet it will leave a space for the face which is what you were wanting 😉 good luck 🍀

A tio from my side is " pour Alcohol on the top edges and sides of the newspaper, so that if u light it, the alcohol will burn leaving the newspaper behind so u can get a beautiful shot".

#QOTD: Hi! I have been getting in to photography but I am color deficiencent, that is why I mix up my colors, I explain it to people as dislexia with colors, but anyways, do you I would still be able to further my career in photography with this disability?

hey man! I don´t know how it works but maybe you can try to identify the diference of contrast about the colors and play with them, maybe you could find a really good style and boost your photography skills, keep it up man!

Actually a pretty cool shot. It wouldn't look natural if we could see his face, instead it looks like he's looking down and reading the paper oblivious to the flames.

Hey H, I'm not a pro photographer but i love taking fire photos ........uh...just a tip you could actually control the burning by brush a little bit of water on the news paper just below like 10 cm .......and if you light the top part the burning will reduced when it reaches the water side.............you are really a great guy......keep up your good work.....

you could probably spray some water on parts of the newspaper to make it a bit damp. That way you'll be able to control the fire better + it won't burn up as fast = more photos

Question I got my filter stuck on my lens and I want to take it off with out damaging the lens any suggestions you guys
Yea use little rubber bands and just wrap it around your lens filter so that it adds a better grip and just try your best to slide it off, it takes a while but it will eventually come off!
Use Duck Tape. Put it on around your filter. Ten you will spin the filter off easily.
You got your filter stuck on your lens!

I have tried this at dawn and dusk try it at that time, honestly its better , hold the news paper a little lower than he actually did , this will get you his face , ample of light , fire and everything

On a quick note though, I would recommend going into an abandoned concrete area and used the mask. Kinda like a purge photo. I get the forest is ideal as far as comfort and more secluded, but fire and forest don't mix. Love your stuff though bro!

If you ever do this again, put some gazoline on the top edge of the journal that way it lights evenly and you get more time to shoot. Tested technique
Sometimes weather sucks man! I already sick with fever and I traveled 102 miles to get a beautiful cloudy landscape. By the time I reached the place, it was all gone! No clouds... ! :-( But the kick was worth it :-) I never regret that!

I love your enthusiasm in your blogs pal, really energetic. I also really like the final image. I know it's not to everyone's tastes but I'd like to see if with a bit of colour pop. Mono background with your mate and the fire in colour. I think it would really add impact to the main event.

Next time if you ever decide to give it another try, make like a triangle shaped cut in the top of the paper to make flames in the middle a bit lower than on the sides
