@@brodiessirenproductions oh yeah that’s why I love older Thunderbolts like that, even tho I like how the 1000Ts sound a bit better. 1000s are way more fun tho as they shake everything like crazy when they wind down
@@SirensAndAlarmsOfNorthernIL Yeah. I could feel the sound penetrating my chest when it wound down. I swear, I felt like I was shaking all day after that lol.
It basically just gave a run through of the whole history of the Thunderbolt and it mentioned the other older Thunderbolts in the county. I have a picture of the plaque under my Park City post on Instagram if you would like to see for yourself. My username is @brodies_siren_productions
@@brodiessirenproductions Yeah. It was both because the camera on my phone is really bad, and because I couldn't see the screen, so the siren was completely out of the shot.
I went to the Segwick county historical museum. I was able to take a picture with the 1003 they had on display. They also had T79 parked outside which is my profile picture
That’s awesome!! Didn’t know they had a 1003 there. I’m excited for when they get T79 installed, I might just have to come back there for a recording of that one
From what I was told by a trusted source, it didn’t. According to the same source there’s a 2nd frequency for only the FS sirens, it’s a 154 frequency but I don’t have the last digits. It makes sense too because usually the sirens all activate after the 3rd string of tones sent through. This one didnt
That isn’t an FC. It is some ATI radio that is tied into the RCM. All of Sedgwick county’s sirens are equipped with ATI radios. I think they activate them by town so that is why some sirens get set off by other FSK tones. Also, I didn’t know they have 2 frequencies. I always thought it was just that 155.XXX frequency from radio reference
@@SirensAndAlarmsOfNorthernIL Not anymore, they have an SS2000+ at the office with the REACT 4000 that they currently have, the sirens with FCs in the system are tied to that SS2000+, only reason tones didnt come through is because its on a separate frequency
Tbh even though it sounds better, I personally don’t like the pitch it’s on now. I’d say that it would sound much nicer and cooler on chopper level 6. It would probably sound a lot like the one at the water works. (Aka the coolest sounding thunderbolt EVER)
Sounds even better now that it is all dialed in. Good to go for another 70 years!
Yep!
I love that sound!!! Can't wait to see this one in person! Amazing looking and sounding video :)
You and me both! And thanks!
Oh this sounds GORGEOUS! Awesome video, I'm glad they bumped the chopper level up, it sounds so much cooler
It does!
It's actually the same, it just had to break in the refurbishment. Now that she's loosened up, the chopper is running as it should.
Great video, so proud of you❤️
Thanks mom!
this is amazing!!! it sounds so much nicer now that the chopper level was bumped up
Thanks!! Yeah I like the way it sounds, sounds absolutely amazing in person as well.

Nice clean video. I was hoping someone would get it. Thanks!
Thank you! Glad I could get one for you, lol.
Absolutely BIBLICAL recording! There is literally so much foam spewing out my mouth rn-
Bless your soul
Oh this is lovely
These things are actually better than 1000ts because they are sending RAVE BEATS TO EVERYONE
Bro just became a T-128💀
Sweet!!!
Wait is this video taken the same time the short was taken of this siren?
Yes it is
@@brodiessirenproductions Ahhhhhh. That makes sense.
Beautiful
Thank you!
❤love it
It sounds like the central parts of Kansas and more rural parts of the state are getting even some of joco's tbolts.
Perfection
nice recording
Thanks!
@@brodiessirenproductions your welcome bolts are my fav an i love this one glad to see there using it agian
again
Gonna miss that sweet, STL-like thundering voice, but this works just fine
Jesus this sounds like something that a Nuclear Power Plant system would use
Was the Thunderbolt heard at the end of the video the one in the Valley Center industrial park? I've been wondering whether or not it's active.
I’m not sure, I’m thinking it was the one that’s closer to the center of Park City, but it could be the one you’re talking about
That one's active, yeah
@@shodowhater Thanks.
What does the plaque show?

Was this the same thunderbolt that used to be near the holiday inn at whichita ks?
Yes
Nice video, That's actually the same place where they have Ribbon Cutting kinda like doing the memorial.
Yep! And thanks:)
@@brodiessirenproductions You're welcome
Yet more proof that thunderbolts are louder than whelens. A 4004 and a 1000T the same distance away and yet the Thunderbolt is louder.
Right
Why is the sound like t-128?
The chopper level is adjusted to a pitch where it’s similar to a T-128’s pitch
Oh
Better than 4/5 port
This was awesome to experience! Even if my recording came out horribly. (Which Is why I didn't upload it.)

I like level 7 1000’s
You have not recorded a elk city 2t22 yet!
I haven’t yet because I’m not sure if they’re active, I think one is and one isn’t. I’ll definitely swing around back by there and see about that.
