This gives me so much nostalgia that I can’t even describe it. And the piano makes it sound even more beautiful. Thank you for this video, Sheet Music Boss.
This is one of my favorite pieces in minecraft, both this one and moog city 2. I think my favorite iteration of it, though, is in "Alpha," the credits theme, it's such a wonderful moment in the piece. If you do get the chance, I'd love to hear a piano arrangement of that one!
I think Dead Voxel is a better choice. It has much more opportunities for piano and just seems more nostalgic (at least to me, Concrete Halls barely ever played for me for some reason)
Same thing, i was thinking that minecraft music was boring or... idk maybe i didn't like the piano? But a year ago, i have understood the beauty of it and i had a big nostalgia moment, despite the fact that i started playing in 2017. Oh Minecraft, what a game...

Bruh, you do not understand how much this song takes me back, I remember when I was about 8 playing on creative servers with my sister as build things we thought were cool to show off to other people, and as we were building all I'd hear is this song in the background, it always gives me déjà vu. Thanks
Wii U edition still has this, and some other older mc songs, due to its lack of updates. A lot of the recent mc songs remind me if playing on Xbox 360, long, long ago, back when mass effect mash up came out... I would play my creative world with glowstone castles and sky zoos. My armies of dogs, my treehouses. All of it exists there. It is not gone. Sure, now MC is looking better and sounds different, but the Wii U and Xbox 360 are always going to have a place in my heart. A very special one.
I remember listening to this while waiting on the server list for my crappy internet to let me join that small new 1.7.9 SMP server. Sometimes I look back and I still can't believe I've been playing this game for over half of its lifespan - ever since March 2014. I always thought of myself as a relative newcomer when I heard youtubers say they started playing in 1.2, or even in the Beta, but maybe I'm a veteran after all.
Nostalgia. I used to play on this world with my friends on my wii U, TonyaT88 and Scotty2014. I used to own this city, where we used to role play a lot. It was so fun and this song used to play all the time. The town was called mineville it was my best creation but one day... I got a Nintendo switch and I was forced to sell my wii u... I wasn’t able to tell them my friend ID and I have never seen them since... I wish I could see them one more time.
Bro, when I played console edition I can fondly remember just vibing in the tutorial worlds on creative mode blowing stuff up and riding minecarts. Just having a good time. I wish I could go back to the good old days. It’s not the same anymore.
I played the Xbox one addition so if you also played that and used the Christmas map, this is for you: (Lol I didn’t realize it, but I posted this on the wrong vid sorry 😁) You are in creative, flying over the city at sunset, looking at all the villagers, your friend building a house in the distance, you see the iron golem fighting off the first batch of skeletons of the night. You fly over to the Christmas tree in the middle of the town, and go into the secret tunnel to Santa’s workshop. You go to your room, and go to sleep. It is the next day and you go outside and fly outside the town so you can go admire the reindeer made of ice and giant snowmen. You remember the promise you made to your friend the day before about making a massive sky base. You dedicate all of your free time to that sky base for the next month. It’s a month later and you and your friend, stand at the bottom of the base, admiring both of your hard work and remember when another one of your friends tried to blow it up. You smile, realizing that because of that event, this sky base became the community home for the server of 5 people. This is based on a true story and sadly, we lost that server. I have not played on it for almost 2 years and I now play the version 1.16. I will never forget the old days 😔
For some reason this is one of the only songs in Minecraft that gives me a lot of nostalgia. Probably because I actually really liked it even when I was a kid.
I remember the old version of this playing while I built my first house in 2011, it got struck by lightning and burned down. *sad times and nostalgic times*
I miss Minecraft xbox 360 edition. i miss playing the old version of Minecraft, on hypixel looking for a fun game to play. i miss building giant houses and going to the nether and the end with my siblings on survival. i wish i could relive all the happy moments playing old Minecraft
For whatever reason, I didnt used to like this song. But as of recently, it's become one of my favorites, and certainly the most epic song in volume beta
Now i realised for how long i have been playing this game. I started with Classic on the Minecraft website. I remember the giant servers with lots of people on, specifically one with a large city with (I especially remember a skyscraper with stone slabs as stairs and a view on the whole server from the top of the tower, and a giant toilet build with an octopus inside.) built by players, also i found a cool glass maze underground on this server accidentally and there was so many things made out of wool in the old, vibrant colours. It was incredible. I also started playing Roblox back then, because i enjoyed games that allowed me to build my own world and explore other worlds. It was so much different than what it looks like now. But let's return to Minecraft. I later bought the full game when it was in the 1.4.6 stage. I still remember the days spent building a giant tower out of some random blocks with my friend. I remember when they added nether quartz, hoppers and some redstone stuff i didn't understand in 1.5. I remember many 1.6 modded versions. I remember the wonders of new world generation and countless mods in 1.7. And I remember when they added the ocean temples, which i still feel like it was a year or a bit more ago, while it was much more - 5 years. Honestly, i loved the old days. It was so much about exploring and discovering. But after 1.7.10 i don't remember most changes, though i got already used to them. But now, honestly, i think the Nether Update and some other ones afterwards might really bring back the joy of exploration and discovering. Only bad thing is that the old community of Minecraft, which remembers the Classic days, when no one cared about griefing, is lost in the majority of annoying or agressive players. I don't mean everyone, but with the popularity Minecraft gained in the past 10 years, many players joined, both the rude ones and the kind ones. Just like in Roblox, which was once an incredibly friendly game and had so many helpful players, unlike now. But still, i have so much bond with these games and communities, that even though they change so much, i still love them both. Since the moment i first played them a decade ago. And i definitely still enjoy playing these games, even though everything feels so different.
also to anyone who reads the replies if you say day x of requesting y song then it’s not going to work, it’s just annoying, so just copy and paste it if you’re determined to see a piano cover of your song
