    Nice review and mentioning even your Mum can ride it, gives me confidence as where I live at the top of a hill, no matter which direction I take I'm out of puff half way there, so I'll be looking for this bike myself and doing the mods, as I love comfort.

    I just took delivery of a Fiido T1. It was a choice between it and the Kommoda. Here in Europe it was €700 cheaper than the Cyrusher... I have had some things to get used to but what a powerhouse - not for top speed but acceleration, hill climbing and comfort as well as utility. Don't miss it if it comes you way. A very unusual bike.

    My aventon Aventure Ebike will climb hills that steep slowly but do it, the hill was around 35% to 40% grade and about 50 feet long made up it at 9.5 mph 👍

    Pro tip Mr C.C. Get rid of the 17mm aluminium spacer on the central rocker arm bolt between the rocker arm and frame.
    Instead replace it with 2 thrust bearing ( id 8mm x od 21mm x w 7mm ) 2 on either side + 2mm metal washer in between. It will transform the suspension from wobbly/twitchy to smooth/stable, also eliminates all that friction.
    Simple mod for less than 15 bucks ( pack of 10 bearings ) but benefits are priceless.
    Can also do the same to shock bolt when you do decide to replace the shock to an air with compression/rebound/lockout. Use 54mm shock mounting hardware + same 7mm thrust bearing, 1 on either side. Will feel like floating on a cloud or cushion of air.
    Cyrusher take note very cheap mod that will transform the suspension on Commoda/690/800. Currently a bolt through a hole with a spacer between 2 aluminium surfaces with no bearings (or even bushings as a minimum) rubbing against each other causing so much friction? You guys are capable of better.

      @@chinguyen8778 or should it be a double ?

    • @chinguyen8778
      @chinguyen8778 Год назад +1

      They are able to rotate in both clockwise and anticlockwise direction if that is what you were asking by double? The brass cage that holds the bearings that sit between both the silver spacers can rotate any direction. 1set means the brass cage assembly that holds the bearings between two 2mm metal spacers on either side. It came as a pack of 10sets from memory.
      Also, just to clarify my bike is the equivalent of the cyrusher 690 (lankeleisi 750plus). It shares the rocker arm/shock assembly with 68mm spacing between them. So when I use 2 sets plus 1 extra 2mm spacer it holds the rocker arm firm and square without any unwanted sideways play. Only up/down as it pivots through its travel.
      The 690 commoda 800 all share the same rear shock/rocker 68mm arm assembly as far as I can tell. However, I am unsure if the commoda has the 15mm aluminium spacer between the rocker and frame as the 690 which I replaced with the thrust bearings.

    Got a Question is there a possibility of cutting the seat post frame so a person could drop down the seat post lower my wife has a very short leg length. I would need the seat to be at 24 inches from seat to the ground so she can plant her feet firmly onto the ground

    • @CitizenCycle925
      @CitizenCycle925  2 года назад +1

      That wouldn't be even remotely possible. The tires are 23 in tall on the Kommoda. If you cut some of the seat tube and used a thin seat you might get it down to 30in. I have a Jetson bolt Pro e-bike with 14-in wheels and the minimum seat height on that bike is still 26in.

      If you are shorter I would definitely go for the kommoda, I believe the commodity is also cheaper. But if you were going to use it more for off-road mountain biking I would go with the xf 900. The 900 also has a larger battery.

    You said you do not promote E bikes, or you said you have "no skin in the game". That being said did you pay your hard earned money for the Kommoda? So if they sent you the bike to try and then you send it back after your test that's one thing, but if you keep the bike, the free bike is "your skin in the game" so to speak. I like your analysis of E bikes I just think to be transparent you should mention they sent it to you to ride and keep and tell people about them.

      I believe that's the problem with most of these reviews.The bikes are given to these reviewers so it's very hard for the consumer when shopping and looking at reviews to get an honest opinion of each bike being reviewed

    • @deehines5750

      Pretty sure almost all of his bikes are free in exchange for a review. However what most people look for are the speed tests and the range tests that he does. All of the specs and such people can read on their own.
