Silvio, The “Maxflame” kit is supplied with a direct connect fitting, to operate torch on full bottle pressure. This has the benefit of providing maximum possible / unrestricted flame power. Note that the pressure in a LPG bottle will vary depending on ambient temperature & contents level, which may cause some variation in the flame intensity. The “Combo” kit comes with a gas regulator. This reduces & regulates the pressure which allows for better control of the flame & also reduces gas consumption. Just bought mine and its a monster burner - would like to learn more about adjusting the flame and burn intensity as the gas is used.
