    Sugo SG08 best case ever. Needs to be reintroduced with updates for present day tech. (minus drive bays, plus water cooling)

    Nice case for a media-center-pc, indeed!.
    But I doubt a 'high-end' system will fit in. At least for me, that would contain at least either a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti or a Radeon RX 6800XT. No air-cooled custom design of these cards I know would fit in (maybe there are some with blower-design, but that would be loud as hell). And the liquid cooled designs require at least a 240mm or even 360mm radiator.

      SUGO 16 has GPU clearance for up to 275mm x 147mm x 55mm so you can fit something like AMD’s reference RX 6900 XT (267mm x 120mm x 50mm), which doesn't use a blower and has three fans. AMD card vendors such as Sapphire and PowerColor both offer it for sale:

      @@Silverstonetech I am aware of these, but they are nowhere available (at least in Germany), same with Gigabyte and Asus. That's why I was talking about custom designs. The smallest I know is from Gigabyte (286x118x58mm).

    1 big problem is that todays CPUs & GPUs require more cooling options - The LianLi Dan H20 A4 is 11 Litres, takes a 240mm AIO cooler, a 3 slot GPU of over 320mm has USB-C, Takes SFX/SFX-L, and a 2.5" drive. This is what silverstone should be designing - Something Like the DanH2O A4, Ssupd Meshilicious, CoolerMaster Nr200, or Ncase M1....Why do we keep getting cases, which dont meet these requirements of a modern machine?? The only thing i can see as its USP - Is that you can fit a Tall Cpu cooler in it, for i dont know why anyone would.

      The SUGO 16 is intended to eventually replace the SG13 in our lineup so it was mainly designed to fit mid-range system builds or for people to move their existing PCs into small form factor. For these types of users, they usually do not have 240mm AIO or SFX power supplies. Typically they have a standard sized 120mm air cooler or 120mm AIO with an ATX PSU so SUGO 16 will be a good option for them. For those looking at fitting 240mm AIO and 3 slot GPUs, we have the SUGO 14 and SUGO 15, which are around the same size as Cooler Master NR200. Check it out if you haven't already in the links below!

    Hi Silverstone, I've got a sugo 16 which I love but wondered if it can be modded/improved for thermal efficiency? Is there any way of me buy an individual vented side panel to replace the standard full panel behind the motherboard? I'm trying to make the case as cool as possible for a aio 12600k and air cooled 6950xt

    • @Silverstonetech
      @Silverstonetech  Год назад

      The panel underneath the motherboard is riveted so we don't offer that panel for replacement to users. Sorry!

    • @WerdnaT00
      @WerdnaT00 Год назад

      @@Silverstonetech hi, thanks for the reply, I don't mean the panel under the motherboard, I mean the actual external case side panel. It can easily be swapped for a vented external side panel like on the opposite side. Thank you!!

    Why 240mm top AIO radiator cannot be mounted in this case provided no GPU is installed?

    • @Silverstonetech
      @Silverstonetech  2 года назад +1

      There isn't enough thickness for a 240mm radiator + fan combo (typically 53mm or more) in the same compartment unfortunately. A dual slot graphics card is typically 45mm thick or less.

    is there any way you can fix 2 sata 3,5 into the case ?

    • @Silverstonetech
      @Silverstonetech  Год назад +1

      Technically there is room for a second 3.5" drive if you don't use the space for expansion slot / PCIe slot. But there would be no easy way to secure the drive there.

    That circular shape holes in the rear is outdated :/

    • @Silverstonetech
      @Silverstonetech  2 года назад +1

      Those are actually hexagon holes! But yes, they are tried and true shape for venting holes as they provide the best combination of material strength and airflow ratio.

      We love to ship as many products to PH as possible, but our distributors have the final say on what they want to import to their own country. We always do our best to push them to carry different products, but sometimes it's more effective if users ask for them.
