Looking at moving out of CA as Gavin Newsome is destroying the state. 1.5hrs to get to work each way. Traffic all day all the time. Construction everywhere. Went out to an old Mexican restaurant Fri at 6pm and the wait was 45mins. Idaho sounds better in every way especially since we are a young family. The main reason why we are leaving CA is the failing public education and expensive private education. Private education for preschool right now is around $1600/month! We are looking at Nampa close to the lake. We have friends in Boise and some others in mountain home. Plan on visiting after the holidays. Thanks for the videos!
Wow! That is quite the commute. I love that part of town by Lake Lowell. A ton of great communities out there! Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions!
@@44248 Don't know what a white plate is. Please elaborate. Can't stay in CA much longer. Eagle looks really nice. Plan on moving my business so I would bring jobs.
@@trussmonkey5910 California has white license plates, they are everywhere here now and the state has already started going to crap. Californians drive like butt holes throw trash out their windows and vote the same policies that ruined their own state. Nah keep your jobs and stay there, already too many Californians here!!
What's funny is so many of the people complaining about all the people and too much growth have six or eight kids each. You think they'd figure that out someday.
Lots of traffic 500 accidents on eagle rd every year. The roads are always under construction because of lack of planning. People drive like idiots tailgating is common. People in general are not friendly
being at the center is great for eating out work etc short commutes compared to living out of town and we can get to boise or caldwell/nampa more easily as well for all they offer. Best all around
Chase, could you do a video about life in Boise for the older retired demographic, i.e. over 65? Whether living in condos, over 55 communities or retirement communities.....
@@LivinginBoiseTV Thank you. Widowed Wisconsinite here. I want to move myself and my 2 horses to Idaho. I hope to find a small, couple acre, mini ranch. I have a few chickens and a dog. Moving off of a 80 acre farm. Its the hardest thing I have ever done. I'm scared, but excited at the same time. Thank you for these informative and interesting videos.

Not having a traffic light at McMillan and Black Cat
100%. Hoping that the traffic will subside a bit when McDermott opens back up from the construction for the highway expansion.

Awesome! Proximity is key. Glad you are enjoying it!
In central CA and almost all of the almond, walnut and fruit orchards are now housing. This mess is everywhere.
Yeah, that seems to be the case.

I have a couple on the channel about retiring in boise and my favorite 55+ communities. But I will definitely add a couple new ones to the list!

All the horrible drivers.....constantly 😂😂
There are more than a few of those!
We are all full here. GO AWAY.
No, there already too many Californians moving to Idaho! Go fix your own state instead of ruining ours too!
You're the first I've heard Boise pronounced boy-zee, like me. All videos I watch pronounce it as Boy-C
Yeah, my wife gets on me for it. I’ve tried to get on the Boy-C and it just hasn’t stuck! Over 10 years now.
It's with an S.
That is because he is clearly not from here…otherwise he would know how to pronounce Boise.
It’s pronounced boy see. Get it right.
If you want to shit on the culture of why Boise is pronounced the way it is, just go back to wherever you came from.
