Hello! Great video but i have a question. I got this for my SD for the 2.4g dongle use on my docked SD. I couldn’t get it to work and saw your video and it sounded like you said you can do it in windowed? Can you explain that more on what you mean windowed? Thanks!
Additional info; putting the 2.4ghz dongle inside the charging dock, and then plugging it on your PC or Switch dock will also work. It means 2.4hgz usable on the switch

How did you make it work on Android? My phone detects it and can be used in selecting apps, opening it, and closing. but can't be detected ingame. Tried it in CODM and ApexL
I am actually considering changing my old school 3rd party Pro Controller to this for some sort of Christmas/Birthday treat to myself since it's a hall effect controller, but some part of me wants to bide time to see if there's gonna be a 3rd party Dualsense with hall-effect sensor analog that isn't the DualSense Edge for that childhood clutch gameplay with the PS2.
Whoa! That would be amazing. Pretty sure though that it might be a little pricier than this one. Although, if there’s indeed a brand that will sell something like that, I might consider getting one for myself as well.

Thanks, Tonskii! I would reco the Gulikit KingKong 2 for Nintendo Switch and PC for two reasons: I didn't have any issues in terms of full compatibility and it's cheaper.

Question: How on earth did you get it to work on your Android device? I too have the Ultimate Bluetooth version, and although I can get it to show up on my device (a Galaxy Tab S8) and even connect with it (with some difficulty), nothing I press on the controller is recognized by the tablet in any way.
This whole thing is very confusing to me, because 8bitdo itself has repeatedly stated that it *doesn't* work with Android (in answer to questions on the Amazon page for this controller), but you and at least one other RUclips reviewer was able to get it working with Android. So far, I'm unable to no matter what I try. Any help would be appreciated.

sorry I'm confused... so this Bluetooth version doesn't work on steamOS? so only the wireless version with the dongle works on steamOS?
The Bluetooth version also has the 2.4g dongle so it should also work on everything the other version works on. There is a switch on the back to toggle between Bluetooth and 2.4g.

On Steam Deck, Soulstone Survivors. On iOS, it’s Real Racing 3. On Android, CODM. Lastly, on Switch OLED, its Pokemon Arceus.

Not all steam decks are compatible with the hall sensor gulikit sticks replacement.
Yup. There’s a dedicated Gulikit hall sensor kit for Steam Deck.
Just an added noted: what I bought is the SD01, which will on my Steam Deck with Type B Thumbsticks.
My only problem is the capacitive touch for gyro may not work with what I bought. 🤔

I haven’t seen any mount that is conpatible with this. I’ve seen Gulikit mobile mount but I’m not sure if it will fit on this controller.
@@gadgetpilipinas 8bitdo will probably release a mount for this model just like they did with the pro+ and pro 2 controllers.

Have you tried connecting the controller to the Steam Deck via USB-C?
Not directly since the end of the dongle is Type A. However, I tried putting it to a JSAUX Dock connected to the Steam Deck running Steam OS but it still didn't work.

I'm having a hard time why anyone wants to use this on Steam Deck when the console has full controls attached to it anyway.
@@bluemidnight5926 because people dock it and use it on a bigger screen whether that be a computer or TV so they want a controller to play farther away

@@bluemidnight5926 one of the reasons is that the Steam Deck does not have hall sensor joysticks, which is prone to stick drift. :)

di ba pwede yung bluetooth connection sa PC? paano rin pala baguhin yung input mode
2 varieties yan. 1 is for Switch and pc while the 2nd one is for pc and android. so make sure piliin mo ung tamang variety.

@@gadgetpilipinas update after purchase: it works on MacOS with “a” setting on controller. When playing in Steam just select “gamepad” configuration setting and it will work with no issue in GeForce Now.
