  • I am a little jealous of what Crystal Palace are cooking this summer for Glasner. Crystal Palace Complete two signings and now set to make three more to kick on under Oliver Glasner. Wharton has been brilliant, Matteta has been a new player under Glasner. Olise and Eze been quality and now Palace to add to their good form. #CrystalPalace #ChadiRiad #Glasner

    Palace are doing good business. Glasner has come in and turned things around. Palace will be one to watch next season.

    Enjoyed this video, us Palace fans are super optimistic for the future under Glasner!
    Regarding Riad, what i think is more likely is Guehi will depart as he hasn't signed a contract so Riad will take that Lcb role and Richards will move Rcb. But then we've heard that Riad won't necessarily be a Guehi replacement so we could even bring in another CB. 🦅

    It makes sense Glasner signed Kamada a UEL winner with Frankfurt when they were together, went on a free to Lazio but, Sarri didn't rate him he instead played Guenduzzi because of the defensive prowess he offered compared to him and now he finds himself at Palace if he plays alongside Wharton next season then Palace definitely finishing top 10

    As a 25 year long season ticket holder in the Holmesdale the last 1/4 of the season has been absolutely amazing - especially after a hit n miss start and daunting middle of the season - many of us thought we would be in a relegation battle. Dougie has been phenomenal in his role to acquire decent signings and the new manager has had an immense impact players love for the game has most definitely returned. We now have decent players all over the pitch. I realise it could be affected by departures, but the current vibe around the club gives me far more confidence that we can now potentially, and finally make the step-up from mid-table our usual 10th, 11th, 12th, to presenting a challenge for a Euro place.

      Mateta's turn around and progress has, I think, been the biggest player improvement I have ever witnessed at our club. From a player who upon joining was dismissed by many, the vast majority of fans imo (myself included at times I'm now ashamed to say) he is the real deal now tho and his finishing for his goals this season is testament to that - plus hold up play and getting involved and winning the ball have been superb.
      Wharton is also amazing so far - some of his passes been some of the best I haves seen, and his dangerous through balls have created untold problems for our opposition. To think he is 21/22 is unbelievable.

    They would have finished 2nd. They won 6 drew 1 of their last 7 with 22 goals scored and 4 conceded so slight error in your table there but great view points!

    Good breakdown, definitely think doing content on the "smaller" clubs is a good idea. Not everyone wants the Big 6 overload that the media push. Keep it up 👍

    In the 50 years I have been a Palace fan I think this team is the best with an outstanding manager. But the transfer talk is all that really. Talk. Yes we seem to have got Riad and Kamada but I'll wait for the announcement. I can't see eithe Eze or MO going to Man U or Chelsea or anybody else who is not in the CL. Why would they? Both seem to be well advised and both seem shrewd enough to plot the next move with care. City? With 115 issues? Arsenal? To sit on the bench, behind Saka? Or maybe a season more , smash it and stay injury free and wait for Real Madrid or PSG to come calling? And more clarity in the PL a season on. We'll know when the window closes. Not that it's open yet....😅

    Brilliant new Channel
    @Alice Talks More Football 🔥
    Great early pre-season take on CP 🔥🔥
    Oliver’s pre appointment to all his managerial posts have been during a pre-season
    At CP Oliver has had an early start with the ending of 2023/2024 season
    Freedman’s & Oliver’s working early pre-season is definitely impressive to say the least
    Squad in-depth is the key to successful league campaign
    regardless of Michael Olise & Eberchi Eze & Jean-Philippe Mateta & Marc Guéhi staying or not
    any new players being brought in at CP will need to be capable in playing in different key positions as well
    Oliver Glasner path to the premier league is very much identical to Jürgen Klopp coaching path - I believe Glasner is the new Jürgen Klopp version for both premier league & European football
    Up the Palace 🔴🔵

    £60 mill for Olise? That's abit cheap......add another 20 at least....

    • @Animalistic9
      @Animalistic9 4 месяца назад +2

      £60mil is his release clause, but I'm pretty sure it can only be activated by a team in the Champions League

    • @AliceTalksMoreFootball
      @AliceTalksMoreFootball  4 месяца назад

      It’s his release clause. Considering the fee Man Utd paid for Antony/ Sancho if that wasn’t the case I think it would be nearer £100m mark

      I’ve never thought kicking football is an apprenticeship into sports journalism -Hugh mcillvaney was a great and esteemed writer about football but I don’t think he was a great footballer
