Ciaran Frawley was the hero with a late drop goal and once again his future at Leinster is a big topic of discussion.
The lads break down Ireland's stellar first half, South Africa's comeback and the key role Andy Farrell played in the victory.

For the longest time I've been waiting for all of this to inevitably unravel on us; for this golden age of Irish rugby to shatter into a million pieces and be relegated to the "good old days", similar to how the Welsh look back to their better times with a funny mixture of fondness and heartache.
But this team is constantly pushing those good old days further and further into the future. Long may it last!

Ireland are consistently in the top 2 or 3 sides in world rugby now and have the full respect of the SH giants- SA and NZ. I don't see that changing anytime soon. They've been building for the last 25 years or so. Everything changed in Ireland a few short years after rugby went pro. In the amateur days, Ireland were wooden spoon favourites most years. With each change of coach from Gatland to EOS to Kidney to Schmidt to Farrell. They've improved with each coach.
Ireland are by far the most improved 1st tier nation since rugby went pro.

Luke is basking in the glow of being vindicated on Frawley, and rightly so. Even more impressive than the drop goals was the risky but perfectly weighted grubber that won Ireland crucial territory.
Farrell saw his potential ages ago, the smart fans and pundits saw it too. The only person who hasn't so far is Leo Cullen. Will the penny finally drop next season?

In fairness to Leo, he used Frawley in the same way Vs Toulouse as Farrel did here, only that the drop goals came off this time. And yeah you could argue that Leo might not have brought Frawley on had Ross not gotten injured. Frawley will never get a shot at Leinster because as it stands, Byrne makes less mistakes, even if his upper level is far below. Mistakes cost Leinster home quarters and semis which fund the whole operation. If rugby was the focus here we Leinster fans would have the privilege of seeing Frawley grow as a player into a world class operator but alas I just don`t think it`s going to happen. His best option would be Ulster or trying to broker some Sexton like special arrangement with Farrell/the IRFU to go to England or France while still being in contention.
