About 35 years ago I listened to this music in my dorm room at a Protestant college. The music never left my soul in all the decades that have passed. I am Catholic today and not a young man anymore either. This music pointed me to Heaven. Praise to You, Lord Jesus Christ! King of Endless Glory!
I saw John Micheal Talbot at a Catholic Church 30 years ago and near the front was a whole row of Pastors from a predominant Mega Church. This music is so anointed and leads people to repentance and joy in this Lord!
Not a Catholic nor from a Catholic family, but for some reason, my Dad had this album. He was a singer so I guess he sang a song in church from here. I used to drain batteries on a walkman and go lay on a chase in the yard and just look at the stars while listening to this. One of my favorite series of songs that I sometimes hear pop into my head, and my brings a calmness over me.
I would play this album, 40 years ago and read my Bible, the stories came alive!!!, today I have been in ministry since 1977, and still going with Jesus, I am a messianic Ashkenazi Jew and ordained minister Evangelist ,a graduate of Bible College and ordained thru Shekinah Christian ministries.
Powerful amd truly a masterpiece. God has blessed John when bringing us this spiritual and awesome album which I purchased yrs ago. It never gets old and hits at the core of Gods majestic glory!
This was one of my most favorite albums of all time way back...they just don't even come close today in the christian music.
This is as beautiful today as when I listened to this 40 years ago. It always Drew me closer to the Lord
my favorite christian music when i was in high school and college very deep and reflective have a number of his albums but no turn table and it occured to me i could find him online dont no way i didnt think of it before but wonderfull to hear it again after many years brings back good times in my life
It takes me back to my youth 15 yrs of age, i use to put on my walkmans earphones cassette back then. I would walk for miles at night out in the country looking at the stars and praising God Almighty . Now at 63 it still moves my Spirit. Amen
I was under the same system of religion so when this first came out, I loved it! Later years would go by and I came to the end and found God's grace in Jesus, a finished work! All my sins our taken away by a once and for all sacrifice! Hebrews 7.27 no more confession! No more repentance! Only freedom to walk in the spirit of life in Christ Jesus.
Along with the comments below, 40 years ago this led me deeper and finding it by chance again… has the same effect ; The Holy Spirit comes in like a flood 🙏
This album and all the following ones were very much influential on my early Faith even as a Protestant charismatic. Because truly in the spirit of the Lord there is unity regardless of your denominational affiliation if you truly are born again and know Jesus ❤️

This was one of the most influential albums to me in my early faith. It gave me appreciation for the words of the mass, a deeper theology of the Lord’s Supper, and great admiration for the depth of JMT’s breadth as a musician. So grateful to hear it here.
I had this album until it got "lost" during a move. I would sit and listen for hours! I'm a full gospel girl, but this Catholic liturgy is extremely moving and joyful. I want to find it on remastered CD.
I used to listen to this album when I was a stoner. I could feel God's loving presence and I thought - THAT'S what I'm looking for. . . . . He is good.
In the mid 70's I was browsing the books at the Yale bookstore in New Haven, CT. They had this album playing. I was blown away by the beauty of the words and music and the sense of worship.
My father use to play this all the time when i was a kid up to I was a teen. The intro to this is devine. They don't make music like this anymore. Im truly grateful for my dad to have shown me this.

Actually, I am a 53 year old Lutheran (Missouri Synod) and this album has meant more to me that ANY other I have ever listened to.
This album conveys the Father and the Sons GLORY more than mere man can comprehend! A TRUE blessing!

I know what you mean. I often listen to john Michael's albums in the early morning, It just seems like it puts all of my plans for the day and the things I might be worrying about in proper perspective.

This was one of the most incredibly talented works of the 1970s. I remember when I was in the Air Force playing this. My womanizing, drinking roommate came in and it freaked him out so much he left! He said it sounded like a cathedral.
The fear of God came upon him because the Anointing of the Holy Spirit is so strong upon this album.
The instrumental song in the beginning gives a glimpse that we are in the last and final days of earth before the very end of all things

Descended into "hell"??? Is that the place prepared for the devil and his angels? (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? Ephesians 4:9 KJV ) Some churches make up their own versions of the Bible.
