Came home from another hard day at work today, though nothing compared to the version of "hard" work that you display. Still, my mind is spent, I cant even think anymore. Just gonna listen to this song for a bit. I want to do more, but at the end of the day I'm just so tired. This song relaxes me like no other song, I dont know what it is. I feel like the feelings you get through this song can only really be experienced if you see something magical in person, like Cerro Gordo. I havent been anywhere in a long time. stuck at home, working every day, I never even get to see the sun when its out. Whenever your hotel opens, I am taking ALL my vacation time, and some savings I have put aside, and I am coming to visit you. I cant wait to see you. What a wild, crazy world we live in. Hope you are doing well.
Staying at my daughter's house. She has 4 kids under 8. Love them but the chaos is real. I really needed some serenity and remembered these sound tracks 👍👍👍 peaceful bliss ❤️ thank you Brent 😉
"Cerro Gordo"... 7 miles back up a desolate rugged trail to where fortunes were found. Makes a person really wonder how early settlers found just the right spot to hit the Motherload... Happy New Years Brent.
It's hard to choose a favorite of the small album that makes Ghost Town Living, but this is my favorite. For me it really brings alive the sense of wonder and history. Magnifying the feeling of the many human lives that lived in a nearly forgotten town that millions have come to learn the name of again, Cerro Gordo. Real people lived there and to many it was all they knew, until you came along it was all but forgotten. Thank you Brent for sharing this special place and the immense effort you put into sharing the story of and preserving the memory of Cerro Gordo. A place that has come to symbolize to me countless settlements across human history and allowed me to find a greater sense of appreciation of the history and beauty of these places.

Ive had trouble sleeping since Ive moved out of state and out of my comfort zone, and now Ill put my theory to the test. ill be playing this song right now, put loop mode on, and see if Im going to get my first full 8 hours of sleep since last May.
