This is the first time that Teams has appeared desirable to me.

Whenever I need to turn on notifications for a chat contact, I need to scroll down the entire list of chats of all contacts, find the chat of my required contact, and then right click and then turn on notifications. It will be better to have simpler way for doing that or a command palette option like /chat or /call. I hope this feature is provided in the new Teams.
2023 and it even has AI features but the feature everyone needs: Drawing on a shared screen, still not implemented 😢
The performance improvements look to be a huge leap forward. So excited to give this a try!

I hope to soon be able to test drive the new teams client. I do have the switch already it just redirects me to a "You are here early" page. From what I can see it is a much requested (and needed) step forward.

I see the AI functionality feature as a way to save clientele MASSIVE amounts of time. So this is VERY neat to see. Possibly coolest aspect of this update.

This is great and all, but you really need to take a look at the install options and make them easier to manage. At this time, the app can be installed by downloading the executable, by enabling it in Office ODT, by AppX and by upgrading to Windows 11 (built in). There are no pre checks during the installation to detect and remove previous/other versions so you could easily end up with at least two teams versions on the machine. I find that super frustrating because you only need one instance.
I don't know if you fixed this but the pop up chat messages block the chat text entry space. I think it has to do with multiple monitors.

If it get's the notification right it would be already an improvement. Though not my favorite and won't be my default app to use, the convenience and the fact that a lot are using it by default meaning any improvement will be better and I will give it a try just in case and to see.

Any news if this going to support multiple work accounts? Because that would be worth more than all of these new features combined (my opinion of course, but I'm for sure not alone).

We use 2 accounts for teams one for local and one for client. On the mobile app managed by intune, the local one's chat never loads. the app crashes on me at least 20 times a day. And most of the reviews mention this crashing issue, hope this has been addressed. Teams has been nothing but a nightmare for me.

Most teams claim to be using it long ago, while some employees like me never had a chance unless they had it in healthcare. But then they wish to find you response about collaborating with teams in the Sakartwell to find anybody interested.
It is available for normal user with 365 or organisation licence??
