Another great video! I know you like Harry’s so I was wondering if you could make a video on their Winston razor? Or their post shave mist?
Brushes and soaps/creams are nice but I use foams or gels frequently, even with my DEs. I mean in the late 50s through late 70s most people used a DE or SE and foam so don't let those comments get you down. Keep in mind, the skinguard carts fit the fusion handles so you can experiment by putting the skinguard on a flexball handle. Same comfort but should allow it to get tight spots easier. I also have a very pronounced Adams apple with flat lying hairs that actually grow up towards my chin (atg is N-S) and I use that 'gulp' technique frequently.

Little trick is use a deoderant stick like dove, unscented on all areas you shaved. It’ll clear redness and pumps

Hello i have a question for you or if someone else in the comments owns this razor. Mine rattles a bit when it's in the stand, it feels snug while i am putting it there, but once in place, it can shake a bit. Is it normal, is yours the same?
Yes - it’s loose in the holder on mine too.

I was satisfied with a Harry's razor until a friend told me about the Gillette 5 series. I tried it and the Gillette is the better razor. The only point's I give to the Harry's razor is the handle. It's a little longer by 3/8 inch and heavier and feel's more comfortable in my hand.

@@averageguytested Yeah I have it's just I haven't opened it yet and I figured I just used an electric shaver around that area until it heals
I love One Blade, by Philips Norelco. It may be just the ticked for your situation - combined with a traditional razor till the skin heals.

I LOVE the XTREME 3 - stay with that. SKINGUARD is a bit frustrating for me - it’s hard to get a clean shave with it. FUSION 5 is good, but only for a few shaves a blade. Have you tried pre-shave oil? I find it to be very helpful.
theMediaMart well I been using the xtreme 3 for last 2 weeks, it cuts well but lately it’s been cutting me. I actually just ordered Arko shave soap Proshield razor and a badger brush before I seen your reply hopefully this will help 🙏

What's your favorite razor(safety or cartridge)?
That’s a good one. I prefer the safety razor feel, but enjoy the practicality of the cartridge so I have settled in on the Harry’s system. It’s low tech in terms of just 3 blades - no goop, bells or whistles and you need to focus on your technique

I love your videos but like I mentioned last time Gillette is just so expensive on their products the blades however do tend to be a little sharper but it comes at a price not for the average man who shaving on a budget in my honest opinion take care

Alex I actually just shaved about 30 minutes ago and it was shave 16. I could probably get 3 to 5 more out of it but I felt like putting a new blade on. I shave every other day so one cartridge EASILY lasts me a month & I always do three passes.
Vance answered the question - as with most Gillette carts - we try to extend the life as much as possible. Like shaving with gold.

For me Gillette fusion proshield flexball o Proglide is the best razor for my head! Baby head smooth! I love Gillette fusion proglide flexball and proshield for my head.i use shave cream Taylor, soap commander, proraso with brush. I dont like gel o foam.by friend 👍😎
