In the linked situation both triggers are being met in the new chain there is no issue and gelato can be used. However, if the previous chain were say Salon chain 1, Ticket chain 2 summoning gelato; resolving backwards gelato would be summoned, then salon would set a trap. In that situation the last thing to happen was the set and not gelato being summoned. So moving into the on summon chain, gelato misses timing and cannot be used.
Gelatto misses timing if summoned as chain link 2 or higher, Gelatto must be summoned in the first chain. Once that condition is fulfilled Gelatto will trigger in a new chain. It's the card that summons Gelatto the one that must be in chain link 1. Meowcarrons summons Gelatto then returns another Gelatto as their effect resolve. Gelatto triggers in a new chain but Salon met its conditions too and it is mandatory so Salon will force itself in chain link 1 then Gelatto chain link 2.
