I don't think anyone is gonna be mad at you for preferring The Black Parade. The Black Parade is MCR's magnum opus. It's literally a generation defining piece. I'm Not Okay is what exploded MCR onto the scene but Black Parade solidified them as the powerhouse they became.

also yes The Black Parade is definitely an improved album, coming from someone who prefers Revenge. The vocals are improved and it is very much a step up from what they had last album. This album that has Im Not Okay happened to be their breakthrough album
