We had an awesome day filming at jug hole, in Ichetucknee Springs. This is a First magnitude spring discharging 67 million gallons of water per day. There is an extensive cave system with more than 600ft of passages (for the certified cave divers).

A great video and a nice memory for me. My dad and I dove there for the 1st time in 1961. Not to many people knew about it back then. I was 17 years old. I started diving in 1958 when I was 14.

Did they require you to be Cave dive certified? The website says they do, but the sign underwater says only cave certified divers past the sign.

It's been a while since i have gone up there. When we went, they had just opened it up to everyone (nothing above open water needed). That's still assuming you will dive within your limits. But unless things have changed, i purposely asked if open water was allowed, and told yes by the park.
