If I sell Isak for Watkins and then buy him back I lose 0.5 million straight away. And still doesn't mean Watkins will score more in the double than Isak in a single game against city
When you make the transfer, you’re not going to want Isak back until gw 30. Depending on strategy, it could make sense

@@misteraquilani494 I have Rogers, I wouldn't be buying Watkins personally. But most of the time in FPL you have to trust your instincts so your choice but plan ahead.

He’s a mope upfront, he’s even admitted it in interviews that he struggles playing as a striker because he gets impatient.
He’s only come to Villa because Amorim changed the formation, he’s been promised to play where he wants which is left wing. I was just saying I reckon he’s got decent competition for that spot at Villa

I might have to do the same, since I'm already tripled up on Liverpool. Although I expect Slot will earn more points than Emery next week, I'd have to spend two transfers downgrading either Trent or Allison (both of whom I'd like to keep long-term), and I'm not keen on Aston Villa's upcoming fixtures after the double. Then again, if Trent's ruled out for weeks, that makes brining in Slot more feasible.

Free hit would solve a lot of problems but like to hold on to it for FA Cup quarter finals week.
Picking Pickford to Martinez in GW25 which is a bit boring but a good switch which could be a bit longer term move. Already have Rogers and a punt on Rashford as a differential. (Haha posted this before getting to end of this segment)
My current plan is FH34, wC35, BB36
I can get though 29 with minimal hits and have a half decent 4-4-2 team out.

Hard to know right now, max 16 teams though.

I'd just say, having such a powerful chip like the WC only coming in to play for 3-4 weeks may not be optimal.
@@seefoghall it's not as powerful this year with the ability to bank transfers and the core team being fairly consistent amongst most teams.

The move to emery from moyes if tripled on Liverpool is a no brainier. Firstly you need to take a 4 point hit to get Slot , then you are transferring out a Liverpool player who has a DGW also .

Heart says transfer a villa midfielder and a Bournemouth defender. I have a feeling that decision will have consequences if the wrong one is made.
First year FPL player- I used WC in GW24 prior to the DGW25 being confirmed (Would've used AM if I had known, used TC for Haaland vs IPS. Pretty happy with the WC though as I went triple LIV, double EVE and double AVL with Watkins + Rogers)
Is it worth BB'ing in GW25 as opposed to 33? My bench is Pickford, Mykolenko, Dango + Huijsen

I triple captained salah this week, sitting on three Liverpool players and I don’t want to sell one to bring in Slot - should I activate assistant manager for Emery’s double, and then target table points for the next two fixtures, or should I sit on the assistant manager chip and wait until the doubles later in the season?

What about instead of the double game week teams in 25 have Silva as assistant manager because Fulham have forest at home there is a 5 places difference between them potential 10-point bonus then they have palace at home wolves away?
A 2-0 win for Fulham would be 20 points for Silva.
Just say Liverpool pump Wolves 3-0 and then beat Villa 1-2, that would be 19 points for Slot.
It’s a viable option IMO but not without risk, but obviously you NEED Fulham to win and preferably keep a clean sheet for it to pay off and then hope Liverpool drop points at Villa, Fulham have already beaten Forest at the City Ground and kept a clean sheet earlier in the season. I have Silva as a safer bet than Emery but with Emery the Reward potential is much higher. Its a tough call but it’s hard to not go with the managers who have two swings of the bat

IMO Watkins doesn’t offer enough consistent threat to warrant taking a -4. Trent is likely going to be Fit by 25, he’s likely going to start against Everton. I’d rather have Trent for a double game week than Watkins
@ Watkins also blanks in 29 which is also putting me off a tad! I think a simple amad to Roger’s might be the play
Is wildcard wk 29 a good idea, then keep bench boost and free hit for any doubles later. Plus roll some free transfers for the fa cup fixture blanks.

When you free hit players out you get them back the following week at whatever value you had in them.
I have isak,gordon,hall and I'm planning to slowly remove them b4 bgw29, I used my ft on hall for kerkez.

I think yes because Bournemouth is gonna have better fixtures as compared to new castle

If trent isn't available by gw25.. is it a case of switching trent to another defender so as to switch moyes to slot.. is that the best route?.. or just stick with my 3 liverpool assests and just go emery.
I'm also 50/50 on this. Think if Trent is injured it's probably worth Slot. But if fit I probably stick to the plan and go Emery. That said if Everton do Liverpool I may be on the Emery hypetrain regardless. Choo choo

I’ve three options
1- sell Trent and activate AM slot
2- keep Trent activate AM on Emiry
3- buy Dango and keep Trent (no chips) ???

I had 0.6 ITB and no free transfers, decided not to go for Moyes AM to don't need to make a hit in GW25 for Emery and attack GW27 Wolves Vs Fulham to chase the table bonus.

No, not at his price point.
Too much uncertainty over mins played, Roger’s for the double gameweek or Kluivert are better options imo in that price range.

Depends on fixtures and your own team, I'd say
Unless you have true conviction that Villa beat Liverpool, Emory is a waste of a pick. Go for someone like Silva who has a great bonus-eligible home match. Doubles always blind people to what the best moves are.
You don't need a win for Emery to be worthwhile, a draw would be massive!
