That could be due to heat stroke, or may be your Kalanchoe variety is of small leaf Kalanchoe. Also Check the Root bounding or Soil's Compactness, these could be the reasons. What kinda of pot should you put it in?
Plastic pot is good, but A Clay pot or a terracotta pot can Work even more better.
