The "Baritone Funk" series is back after a brief hiatus. Here's a Fender Jaguar baritone, through an MXR Bass Octave Deluxe and Kemper amp profile of an old Fender Bassman. BASS.

Considering that 8 + 7 equals 15 you can either write this bridge in 15/8 or 7/8 + 8/8, in any case it will sound the same!!! Great job Mark.L! :)
@@Grayham4 thats my question too.. cause if it was written has being in 15/8 how do u know which way to break it up? How am I supposed to know the group of 7 comes before the group of 8?

Funk on a detuned guitar is way better than djent could ever be. So good!
It's not detuned, it's a baritone. It's got a bit of a longer neck so it's standard tuning is lower. Somewhere between a bass and a guitar.

@@aji_jacobson Detuned meaning tuned down. Baritones are tuned down to a pitch considerably lower than standard 440 tuning of E, A, D, G, B, E.
Very Funky. I love the chord choice. Also I have been thinking about what guitar I want to buy next that would add the most to what I already have and the type of music I like to play. I was thinking Tele, just because it is so versatile, but now I am thinking baritone guitar. I watched your right hand quite a bit on this video. That will require some work on my part to get those skills, but that is part of the fun.
