I was lucky to watch Stanton hit BP last season, and you can DEFINITELY see a difference in how fast the ball travels when he hits it compared to others. It's ridiculous.
Mike Stanton has some serious talent, but asking his body to play a whole season is the Patriots equivalent of hoping Gronk played the whole season. Two unbelievable part-timers
The way that ball looks when he hits it on the close up makes it look like the left fielder is going to make a play on it. Then it pans back and you see that thing is still going up, and into the second deck... just unreal
@@Ron_Plays635did you seriously just say batting average isn’t that important. It’s the most important stat in baseball for a hitter… stop commenting on baseball videos if you know nothing about baseball… respectfully
And Strawberry had a higher bat speed. His bat was incredibly light for a major league player. I held one of his bats last year at the Louisville Slugger Museum and I was absolutely shocked at how light it was. It felt like I was holding a stick.
Well, you see, those fans kept whining about not getting a ball from Stanton during BP, so he got frustrated and said, "HERE!" with that swing of the bat. 🤣
funny now they celebrate it being hit hard in the early 2000,s they claimed anyone that hit a ball like that was on the juice. how times have changed 😂
Though he hasn't shown his usual ball destroying ability yet early this season It's worth noting how insane the differences are between Acuna and these guys. As hard as Ohtani and Stanton hit these balls for home runs they weren't hit as hard as Acunas nearly 122mph bomb last year versus the Dodgers (you know, the Mookie Betts looking like he tasted something sour face one). Most of the guys at the top of the hardest hit list are like Ohtani and Stanton where they are 6'5" and up, 230lbs and up, yet Acuna is 6' maybe 190 lbs at most. Just think that's interesting that he can generate such power from a considerably smaller build. If anyone thinks he won't come out of this slow start and low power to begin the year they haven't been paying attention to his career.
Last year he struggled to keep up with 94mph fastballs. Because of the bulky muscle and all his injuries. I'm sure that made it tough. Just slimming down a little bit. This year has really helped his body. He's attacking 96-97mph pitches now and that look on his face, like he wants to murder that ball.
OMG. I hate everything about the Yankees except watching him and Judge when they’re on fire. Hoping he stays healthy all year just to see what he can do.
Right now, there is no more dangerous 1-2-3-4-5 lineup in the entire league than Volpe, Soto, Verdugo, Judge, and Stanton. Yeah, I know Verdugo was 0-5 last night, big deal he had plenty of backup. Really makes their sometimes suspect starting pitching a lot easier.
If #Giancarlo can stay locked in this season... As a #NYYankee fan since 1961 We should ascertain to Win the 2024 WS... Plus a couple of lucky bounces going our way... 😇
You can literally see the difference between 2-5 mile exit velocity, that thing nearly teleported lol
What does your comment even say?
@@travis.3 he said that the ball was hit so hard and got accelerated some miles, faster than any other home run that it reach the stands instantly
I meant a ball that leaves 2-5 miles less is easier to track and see it float
Literally? lol

He saw the highlights from yesterday that he got the second hardest hit ball this season and was like "unacceptable!".
0:39 even stanton knew jesus that was a hard hit hahah
He treated that ball like it owed him money.
Michael didn’t even get a chance to say there it goes! Unbelievable!
Gotta love a home run while you are still in the batters box!
When BIG G is ON (healthy), there’s just no player like him. A MONSTER. Fav player 💪🏽

@@hotshotjosh21 Mike Stanton doesn't play for the Yankees.
his home runs are always either 100 MPH bullets or 450 foot bombs. There's no in between.
That was both
In between are 30 strikeouts.
lol what? Pretty sure I’ve seen some in between.
That’s was both

Is a Stantonian Blast ❤
You see him exhale, like thinking to himself, " whewwww, thats crushed!!! " 😅😅😅😅👊🏻
THE SWAT IS MOSTLY UPPER BODY POWER .... so strong to drive a ball with that well not stepping into it. Kudos, G. !!!
Some fan just got their hotdog and nacho combo obliterated by that Missile Shot 😂😂😂
Lmao good one
I remember witnessing a bunch of these types of HR’s back in Miami when he was a Marlin. I miss it.
Aww, their little dugout line dance is so cute
Bregman at 3B saying “thank God that was hit 30 feet over my head”

Love watching Stanton prove everyone wrong.
He's batting .230
@@coldcrush9 BA doesn't matter much tbh, sure it means that he isn't getting a lot of hits in a # of abs, but he is getting better than last year.

@@coldcrush9Doesn't matter! We all know he's not a hit for average player! He gets paid to hit homeruns and thats what he's doing
Keep in mind, the count was 1-2; he was in his 2 strike approach. Barely swung at it and he flicks it 120 mph.
id pay so much to see stanton or judge swing a -5 soldier tank or -5 icon
I do not not like the Yankees, but love Stanton!
I saw him hit one like this live . It really is surreal. Ball got out as fast as any ball I ever seen hit live .
スタントン選手、本当にカッコ良すぎます。大好きです。
Stanton might be the reason Yankee Stadium expands their netting into the outfield 😄
Or Judge 🤣
My favorite player. I've been a fan of Stanton since he came in the league with Marlins
I wouldn't want to be the person that caught that one.
‘Look at that, he hit the f***in Bull; the guy gets a free steak!’ 🐂🥩🤣
Good Morning , Good Afternoon & Goodnight.
I've never seen anyone hit the ball harder than Stanton. Not even Strawberry.

another beast
Will be tested now 😂
He hits so fkn hard. My god
That ball was crushed.
That ball went so fast, it went Plaid (Spaceballs)
Usually its “there it goes, see ya”
But this time “there its gone, oh its gone, see ya”
The crack when Stanton squares one is just different.
Coolest swing of all time! Absolute power!
Some serious power😮😮
That thing was CRUSHED!!
This is the Yankees pinnacle. All that money. No world series. Just a championship home run. LMAO.
You're goddamn right
"Computer. Zoom. Zoom again. Enhance. My god. Motorola Razr?!? We really are in a simulation, that home run doesnt even look possible!!!"

Whats the stats on that?
Missile: YES
Bomb: NO
Did his batting gloves change somehow in the beginning of the video after he was pitched inside
This is why when you go to a baseball game you pay attention
MVP is the person who caught it 😂
That beat Ohtani's 118.7 mph home run in April.

HGH is awesome amirite
When he’s healthy he’s a monster
He normally doesn't pimp homers. He pimped that one.
I really am surprised Stanton hasn’t kill someone with these swings.
Wow, 447ft line drive into the upper deck!
OMG. I hate everything about the Yankees except watching him and Judge when they’re on fire. Hoping he stays healthy all year just to see what he can do.
Imagine if this guy never had to play on turf to start his career in Miami dude would still be healthy. Absolute beast but his body can’t take it.
He was sitting on fastball all the way you can tell
Got out in a hurry
Phenomal 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Stanton 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The more ridiculous thing is how many doubles he turns into singles by not running after he hits the ball.
that is a large man
Empty seats in Yankee stadium is hard to believe.
Line drives are not supposed to reach the LF second deck at Yankee Stadium. G 💪
Well I’m not surprised

he just swings, a ball flies. he is the genuine home run batter.
