It's time to slow down, Jonny, and think about yourself and what you want from life. You've done more than enough, and the some...you were a massive help to me when my son became mentally ill. Time to look after yourself now. Love always x

Diagnosed with Clinical Depression, with Psychotic Features, and severe anxiety 16 years ago... Just to find out I've got hEDS (a physical/genetic condition that caused those diagnoses), as well as a bleeding disorder. My husband has left me, and I've had learn how to use a wheelchair, in the past year. Nonetheless, I appreciate your vlogs and posts. Thank you for your work. You've helped me for the past year and half/2yrs more than I can express. You're an inspiration. I say that, without any assertion, assumption, or expectation.

If you choose to not continue with the public speaking, that's fine. Every appearance you have made, every speech you gave, every person you reached... They were enough. If you find the strength to do more, great. But pushing this far was an achievement, in and of itself. On your second point, stats for single/unmarried people these days are a lot bigger than people of our generation expect, what with being's sold the idea of marriage as fulfillment we got from all sides. The ideal 'family' has been redefined, we needn't mark ourselves by coupling up, as seemed so important a generation ago. It's great to find someone, but living life, enjoying our friends and family interactions, these are fulfilling and not just comparable or 'good enough' when lined up against other things. I wish you the best in all things, but hope that you don't feel the need to get all the checkboxes ticked before you can be happy and complete.

Hi Jonny, I only discovered your channel this morning and have already binge watched most of your vids. I can really relate to many of the things you have experienced and are trying to deal with in this crazy world. I've always felt I was destined to be alone because of these issues, and if my prince was truly out there somewhere, he must be as lost as I am. But you seem like such a wonderful guy, with an amazing soul and a huge heart, I really hope your prince finds you, because you deserve all the love in the world. Sending you a massive hug, and if you ever want someone to talk to, I'll be here. x

Hi, Jonny. Greetings from New York, where the "city that never sleeps" can be exciting and also isolating, just like London. Thanks for the video. I know that we've only shared a couple of comments throughout the years, but I would still like to reaffirm that I appreciate your sharing and vulnerability and that you matter. With regard to singleness, some of us have made a conscious choice to do this. In my case, it is for religious reasons. Nonetheless, we also recognize that we all need to be loved and valued for who we are, and so our friends and family are important to us. I am glad to know that you have people to love you as you try to figure out how to move forward in your life. In the meantime, please know that you have my support as well. Take care.

Being honest and truthful with yourself and giving yourself love is brave, but also can be isolating. When you open up to others and show your vulnerability, truth and love, it can be scary for them as they are faced with a person who is human, which reflects on them and is like holding a mirror up to themselves. Then they run away faced with the prospect that they might have to look deep inside and face their truth. You're on the right path Jonny, stay truthful to yourself and you'll keep growing. Chris x

I know personally because I experienced the same feeling. What I didnt know or what I do not want to accept is we have to grab that moment so to speak and hold it tight through the day or days to be the fuel our lives. Because the life is not always come easy but everything comes how you see it like for me I struggle to start conversation in real life I do not want to bother people arround me. Some people realize that and come to me and start talking to me and I really enjoy talking but then again I start overdoing talking and it scares away people which I do not want. I learn, constantly I mean I am not stupid I can handle almost anything and I went through horrible things but as horrible was it it was also a real eye opener for me. So what I want to say do not give up, I am pretty confident you a smart and kind person you will find your way in life just dont give up!

Hi Jonny. I just want to say thank you for being so open and honest. I've recently been diagnosed with the same condition and your videos have helped me to understand so much. By being able to relate to another has really helped me feel less isolated. I've pre ordered your book and look forward to reading it. You are a true inspiration and I hope you find the path that brings you the most joy in life. You have given so much to the community. I hope you find your paradise. Take care of yourself. x

You're not meant to be alone. I see too much to offer in you for it not to be shared. What you need to get clear about (and this is challenging) is deciding what you're looking for in a man. It's easy to just want someone - anyone. I've been there. That usually never works. Instead of dreaming of just someone being there, really picture in your mind what kind of person they are. How do you want them to be? What do you need from them? What do you expect from them? What part of yourself do you really want them to appreciate? What would be required to bring out the best in each other? Once you have a more definitive idea of that, let that be your standard. Never compromise your standard. Of course I've compromised my standard when I've been temporarily desperate, but when thinking of someone for a relationship, my standards always returned. Your intuition will tell you much more than anything else in matters of the heart - always listen to it over and above anything else. When you meet someone it's OK to open up to, you'll just know it - you won't have to wait until you get cues it feels right - it just will. As soon as you meet that person, it will feel like you've always known them and the connection will be mutual and automatic - you won't have to search for it or work for it - it will just be there. Being single at your age doesn't mean you're meant to be alone - it means you're being saved for the person who has the heart, maturity and insight to be what you need, and to recognize that you are what they need. It will happen. just keep to your standard. A lucky man will WILL find his way into your life.

Jonny oh dearest Jonny.. You make me cry and smile at the same time. It saddens me that you are struggeling but watching you brings a smile on my lips at the same time. It´s been a while since I logged into my account where I follow you, so I have some catchin´ up to do about you. I was diagnosed Bipolar2 some years ago. The drugs subscibed to me help me so much. Sure I get some highs and lows but don´t we all? I have written this some time ago but I want to repeat it : You are so lovable, so vulnerable and brave, huggable and admirable. Not to mention adorable. I believe you make a difference in this world by uploading your videos. I admire your honesty and I truly wish that you will find happiness in life and peace of mind. You deserve it like every human on this planet does. If you ever visit Denmark I would love to talk to you in person. Much love from Max :)

I have learned that over the years being alone or learning to be alone and enjoy it can be more rewarding . I myself in the distant past was on dating sites etc before the era of apps and I learned after many bad situations that being alone is not that bad after all and despite my yearnings for companionship it isn't always better and sometimes can be worse than being alone. I am now learning and dealing with being alone and learning to enjoy . So glad you are feeling better Jonny !

So many people are scared of mental health issues, it's ridiculous, in this day and age to be honest. I can't offer any words of wisdom on dating, being single, but you are a deeply caring, sensitive intelligent and good looking guy, you are still young, I ma sure that you will find someone, probably when you least expect it as well. DOgs are always the answer, no matter the question dogs make everything ok again! Much love. xxx

Great to see you in a more positive headspace. We all love you. I live in Bristol and Bristol/Bath area is really lovely. I have visited London on many occasions in my lifetime and although I enjoy visiting for the day just find it way too overwhelming and could never live there. I guess I am not used to the businesses of it. Bristol city centre can be too much for me too at times. I really believe that things happen in our lifetimes at the time right for us. I have friends who are older than you and for whatever reasons their relationships have not worked out but they have focused on other things and that has been their purpose. You need to be happy within yourself and truly love yourself. Easy said I know and at 43 years of age I can say that now I’m ok with myself. There is great beauty in all things in life and the universe. Sometimes we just need to stop and allow ourselves to take it all in and enjoy it whatever our journey is. Much love x

To everything there is a Season. Your life is shifting under you and it is a time for change. You are leaving a wealth of legacy for others to find, just as I did. You will find your way no Matter how New and how much Out of Element you will feel for a time. No need to apologize- move on. Carry your changes with you, carry the love you meet with you. Take your retreat with you. Take time. Bipolar Shinzo-Affective with Fluid Psychosis Here. It is my heart.
It is not the light without that allows us to see. It is the light within us we shine onto the world. There are a legion of us that shine our light out to add to the world no matter is we struggle or not. Time will give you turns big and turns small. Valleys and mountaintops, and inside of which is still you.

totally relate with this, Its so hard with this to find someone, i don't tell them though i just pretend i am ok and i am as long as i take my meds, it hasn't actually got that far yet but i met someone recently and she accepted my illness but it didn't work out, i spent a lot of time trying to make it work but it was fruitless (pardon the pun) lol, so its back to the grind of nobody even looking at me twice, dating sites that make me feel pretty worthless and the wishing and wanting to find someone that is ideal, i want everything, family, house, fairytale etc but its just not reality lol maybe i am a bit deluded about that maybe i have hopes and aspirations based in fantasies of grandeur lol but it is a dream that one day i can have kids and be the perfect gentleman, father etc, i love kids.

Singleness is great because you get to deeply know who you are when no one else is around. And just because you're single now doesn't mean it's a life sentence. If it's your hearts desire to find someone and that's where your life is supposed to go, it will. But if it doesn't embrace the freedom that is so uniquely yours. Glad you're* feeling better:)

For what it's worth I think your vulnerability is a good quality. It is endearing how you wear your heart on your sleeve and when you meet 'the one' they will see that and love you for it.
Do you think you are drawn to go on stage despite the feelings of vulnerability because of the truman show thing? Like you are drawn to feel that almost 'fame'? Sorry I'm just thinking out loud :) take care and keep posting your thoughts.

Stop dating the wrong guys for you. And stop opening up too soon. Give them time to fall in love with you and then slowly open up...maybe one issue a year. Give them a break :). Try a gentle guy. Maybe you need a guy who is like a dog.
