I've been building out my 2001 Xterra for some easy overlanding. Unfortunately mine is 2wd, so nowhere too difficult. I like your style of functionality over form. Respect, Peace and Love.
I like the idea of the splitter for power distribution, but I'm a little worried about then plugging your refrigerator into it. That said, I'll be interested in how it all works out for you. Also, did you change your compressor setup?
The compressor setup is still the same. I’ve been running the fridge off that splitter for a few months now and haven’t had any issues. The splitter is just running the fridge and the rooftop tent which barely takes any power so there doesn’t seem to be any issue with it so far!
I love your DIY approach, and I really love it when you call out the elitest and snobs! LOL
Haha, awesome. Thanks Mark!
Not janky at all. You do you. Big fan of your approach. Don’t worry about the trolls or the elitists!
Appreciate it buddy!
Nothing wrong with those mods!! Great work and functionality is key!! Great video!!
Appreciate it Tim! Glad it was helpful!
a little disappointed by the lack of duct tape...
big fan of functional updates. nice work.
Haha, while I'm no neat freak, I do have standards, :D. Thanks!

Appreciate it! Good luck with your build! I think you could still do a lot of fun stuff with a 2WD X.
