    I have the exact same. Bought it last year directly from Japan. Couldn't be happier with it. Holds its own compared to my American Pro II.
    Great playing! Thank you!

      Thanks for your comment! Indeed, Japan models keep their solid QC and quality in general.

    The Fender guitars made in Japan are second to none. In the 80's and 90's they were often better instruments than their USA made counterparts. Except for the switches. Most players replaced the dodgy switches.

      You are completely right on the switches, the 80s ones had sort of poor quality ones. The modern ones feel much more solid and better.

      Modern Japanese Fenders I have opened use Korean Oak Grigsby. Those things are quality.

      One question, Is this the traditional 1 or 2? don't you think this guitar lacks treble? I have the traditional 2@@GuitarPalms

    • @GuitarPalms
      @GuitarPalms  8 месяцев назад +1

      @@tomy96175 it's traditional I. As to the treble, I noticed that too, but I compared it to a Strat neck pickup.

      @@GuitarPalms Yeah, I also compared to a strat thought it lacked some treble even in the middle possition, Have you ever thought about swapping the pu?

    Beautiful beautiful guitar. Does the neck need to come off when you need to adjust the string action and neck relief. Or did it ever need to be adjusted?

    • @GuitarPalms
      @GuitarPalms  Месяц назад

      Thanks for the question - mine came perfectly set up. The neck was dead straight and the string action was a bit higher than regular set up, but for me it was good as I mainly strum chords (regular strings set up for me is 1st to 6th string - 1.5mm, 1,6mm, 1,7mm, 1.8mm, 1.9mm and 2mm accordingly)

      You don't need to remove the neck on a vintage style Tele to adjust the truss rod. You just remove the pickguard.

    Hello!
    I just bought this exact guitar and im wondering if needs a shim for the correct angle.
    Did you needed one? thanks !

    • @GuitarPalms
      @GuitarPalms  6 месяцев назад

      Hey hey! Thanks for your question! My did not need any shimming at all. The neck heel was set really dead flat in the pocket and with this setup the action was proper for me.

    is the neck cavity for single coil only or humbucker also like classic vibe?

    • @GuitarPalms
      @GuitarPalms  3 месяца назад

      Hey there! Thanks for the question! The cavity is authentic and is for a single pick up only. So if you decide to fit a mini humbucker or a regular one you will have to take some wood out.
