I love this because I am just like this man----a born collector. 56 and been collecting my entire life just like him. It is really a shame that reality shows such as Hoarders have given true collectors a bad name in that anybody who saves and collects items from the past is immediately and tabooly labeled a hoarder. You need people who appreciate objects, utility, beauty, design, and nostalgia and want to preserve history and the past.

My Grandmother side of the family were Pigg from South Carolina they were pig farmers from England.
My husband's family name was PIGG his great grand dad changed it to Riggs 1930's. I do believe they family came threw Tenn. Thomas Preston Pigg ( his dad was Jessie PIGG ) started the first telephone company in Farmington Missouri and also owned the Arcadia Mo newspaper from 1913 to 1935...there is a small museum in Arcadia MO that has the old newspaper!!!

Sadly he passed Dec. 21 2020 and his estate was auctioned off April of 2021.
Charles Pigg died in 2020 at 82 years old.
