Honestly, one of the few genuine bands that sound just as good live as they do on record, if not better. With the amount of people that hate them, It's astounding that they manage to sell 10's of millions of albums with each release. Take that haters.
I don't understand why people hate them. Why? They write good music and they are better vocalists and songwriters then all of you haters. They make money more than you "haters" will ever make and they just doing what makes them happy. I love some of their songs and I got all of their albums. THEY ARE GREAT!
Since a couple of years... I've been a fan since the start (1995) AND been to every new album concert. They sing live. And live bands never sing as well as on the cd because the cd has been audio edited plus they concentrate on just singing in the studio, not rocking around on a guitar...
nickelback is a great band. to those people that dont like nickelback, why search up their songs on youtube. just go and look up songs that you like to listen to. nickelback dont need to be harassed by people that hardly know music. wow, you listen to it but i doubt u would be able to write musical notes. seriously, leave them alone.

To be fair he's never denied that James is a huge influence on him, and if he wants to partake in a little hero worship, who am I to complain? Fuck, he does Hetfield's old voice better than Hetfield can now.
Even though he looks like James Hatfield, Chad is still Chad and no one should think he looks the way he links to try and be James. I'm not gonna argue what people think, because he does look like James, but he wants to be him. People need to cut them a break. They are who they want to be.

This year's Junos was an embarrassment. Too bad the solo cut right out. For shame Junos, for shame. Awesome tune, the audio quality didn't do it justice.
To be honest, I think Chad is getting worse. He is losing the grit or whatever in his voice. It's gotten softer. If you listen to the concerts for Here and Now, his voice sounds different then previously.

Very very tough song to sing live. Chad is IMO one of the best live performers there is, but even he struggled with the chorus here.
