    I'm signed in my wife's account so this might appear strange, but the sound of the starter whirl and the 2 or 3 pops when she cracked off made me smile. born and raised on a farm in Ne. I cut my teeth in JD 2 cyl. tractors. We had a 56 model 60 and that's a sound that's etched in my memory forever. My first job running a tractor was harrowing the fields just before sowing wheat in the fall, i ran 1944 hand crank A I had to be carefull not to kill it cause I wasn't big enough yet to roll the flywheel to restart it.Had other 2 cylinders as well but they were my faves.

    Didn't know "3" wheeler tractors could even handle a front loader.
    Always thought that'd be too unstable for anyone to even bother trying, but that actually works a treat.
    Cool video!

    I invite you to Western. New York with your tractor. No not Buffalo, south of Buffalo where the belt lies. We get lake effect snow and the record stands at 8 feet in 2 1/2 day. I'm really not kidding. Great video, lets see some more.

    • @CVD-di1xn
      @CVD-di1xn 6 лет назад +1

      We get hit a few times every year. Because the Lake Erie water is above freezing, we still have evaporation. With the cold winds blowing across the length of the lake, the high humid air turns to snow and drops on us in western New York (Buffalo). Usually we get a few inches of snow and then nothing for a week or so. It takes a few hours to clean it up and life goes back to normal. Once in a great while we will have a dry winter. But, a few years back, we took 8 feet (not drifts) in 2 1/2 days. A lot of buildings collapsed and people died trapped in their cars. We made the national news for the entire week. There are some pretty interesting videos on RUclips. As for you, I really enjoyed your video. Stay warm and take care, Dave at Hamburg, NY.

    I used to push snow with a manual bucket similar to that, mounted to forklift (mounted to forks and lifted with the forklift carriage) If you left it unlatched and got the angle just right, you could really get down on to the pavement. Of course, if you were on gravel or broken pavement, you just had to lick it and push it around.

    Here is a hint
    for mud or snow flip the front tires over and mount the rims on the hubs from the other side
    It will give you about 4 more inches clearance between the front tires

    What kind of pump is that? It's awesome that it had an output shaft so u can still run the hydraulic pump but not have it interfere with your rear equipment

    • @linctexpilot8337
      @linctexpilot8337 7 лет назад

      It just runs off the pto - if your tractor doesn't have "LIVE" pto then the pump stops when you clutch. All late 60's and newer tractors have live PTO now, it's so useful.

      @@nutvhusker We always let any hydraulic equipment down when parking for safety reasons. They will leak back through the system. I don't know that it would hurt the pump. It would put pressure on the hoses and such.
