- Hey guys, I get a lot of questions asking about where I buy my clothes and how I style my outfits so I decided to make a video for you guys. I hope you guys found this helpful.

Another tip! If your bracelets are fading what you can try is putting nail polish top coat over the design. It may not last forever but it helps!

I was born too late to be part of the emo/scene era. And even after I never really got to dress how I wanted to until now because
1. I'm black and I get lots of weird looks.
2. My mom was one of those parents that associates emos with satanists 🙄.
But this video helps a lot. I can finally dress how I want and listen to what I want so I'm happy.

My uncle has been into emo scene bands forever and he has old MCR band shirts etc so I have 13 year old band shirts and he gives them to me cause their to small for him and ppl are always like DAMN where do u get ur shirts cause they don’t make them anymore

I was always way too shy and self conscious to be emo when I was in middle/high school. Now that I'm in college, I am slowly evolving into the emo I always wanted to be

Here's a story for you all. One day I was wearing one of my belts and I PURPOSELY put it to hang down on one side. My mom saw the belt and said "What you to fat to put your belts on correctly now" I laugh every time I remember that day

i feel extremely insecure when i do heavy emo makeup in public then wear edgy outfits and accessories.., everyone just looks so bland and im just here looking?? weird?? but i love dressing up this way. i just hate getting looks/attention... emos are just a lil more unpopular here in my country
You just have to get to the point where you don’t care anymore what others think, just know that they have their own fashion sense and may not understand yours, just like emos think normal peoples style is boring, they will not appreciate your style like you can and that’s okay. Just be confident that you look good to yourself and know that you look good even if some people can’t appreciate your fashion sense fully, they just don’t know how awesome you are :) be yourself!

I'm a little late to this video but also for more places people can look for stuff, thrift stores. I've gotten so many cool band tee's, chokers, studded belts, wrist bands, jeans, beanies, and much more at thrift stores for anywhere from $2-$10. Also stores like Claire's around Halloween (or just after when everything is on sale) have some great chokers, necklaces, earrings, and gloves ect. Also I've found fishnet gloves at the dollar store around Halloween time. Also sometimes stores like forever 21 or ardenes will have cool accessories or fishnet shirts. Also for wristbands it's not the most convenient but most bands sell wristbands at their concerts for like $5.
This was made in 2019 it looks like it was made in 2009 😂 even the music sounds old. No hate just sayin’

You can get some accessory type things like stockings and fishnet gloves at adult stores if your old enough to go in, I mostly go in for accessories because that’s the only things that aren’t super overpriced in those stores

The emo/scene stuff was cool when it was happening, but styles adapt, and there will always be a place for alternative styles in society I think. There's so many new style trends and revisions to the emo/goth looks right now, like the two have kind of been merged as of the last 5 years to a new, more streamlined "alt" look with brand like Black Craft. It's much more easy for someone to get into alt styles now, and I think that's an awesome thing, especially in a society that becomes more and more restrictive and authoritarian.

If you don't mind putting in the effort, search the t-shirts at goodwill, that's where I've gotten all but like 3 of my band tees. It's a bit hit or miss, and the mens section tends to be the best bet, but you can find them there if you look well enough.
