  • Getting ready to play a song on an electronic keyboard takes some preparation. In this video I will show you some examples of EK music and then set up and play through an original piece I composed titled "Pancho Rides West". The sheet music is available to purchase from SMP (Sheet Music Plus) Press via this link: www.sheetmusic...

Thank you. I appreciate how you demonstrate setting up the keyboard and adding cues to the composition to eliminate as much guesswork as possible.

Mr. Stewart can I pre record a song and play along with it at the same time on the Casio CTX3000?

Yes, it's possible to play along to the recording you make on the keyboard. The polyphony (the number of notes) is limited to 64, so you may find some notes cut out - but in most situations you won't have a problem. Alternatively, record your song to an external device such as a phone and then play it back through the keyboard. Then you can play along to your recording. I'll make a video to show you!

@@StewartWallaceSJWMusic Thank you so much. I'm write Christian lyrics and use the left side of the keyboard to play my tones and rhythms but I'm not at the level I want to be at when using my right hand to play along with myself but I am average at doing it and still learning. I have a friend with a recording studio who helps me to record my songs and vocals so, playing along with myself would enrich the song so much. Mister Wallace I appreciate your videos on the Casio CTX3000 so much. I have a manual but I still have not learned as much on it as I have in your videos. Keep making them! You are such a blessing to me.
