The power of this amazing artist relies on her ability to narrate the pain inherent to this Polonaise while generating so many layers and dimensions one if left perplexed and ecstatic.
Mouza's rendition of this master work made me feel like if I had never hear this piece before. In her interpretation there is visceral depth, there is a superbly intelligent musical mind, there is a courageous risk taker, there is a uniqueness that makes a complete experience to have listened to this insanely talented and creative pianist with pistols for fingers which can turn into iron and can turn into velvet in a matter of seconds.
I am absolutely blown away with her ability to make us forget everything but her playing. Though it's true that there were a few mistakes, I would say they happened because she is committed to passion and honesty, it's evident that her choice is human sincerity versus excessive caution which can kill music's magic in order to sound perfect.
Bravissima Alexia!
Amazing... I don't care about mistakes when it's so dramatic! Real artist!
Wonderfull performance!! I totally agree with ColoraturaBaritone in everything!! And to add one more thing about her playing: her beautifull sound!!! When I listen to other contestants this YAMAHA is a deferent instrument! When Alexia is playing, this piano sounds so lyric, so sweet, so melodic!!Alexia you are really a fine pianist with your own sound! Bravissima! I am sure that we will see you in the next round!
+AmigosDelTango Patras Absolutely! I am so happy to have discovered her. I am glad you feel her too! =)
Superlative artist!
One of the most inspiring pianists I have ever come across. I really hope she goes far.
Bravo
Amasing playing...Misdtakes had Cortot too,but still stays as important romantic mudic performer...It holds constant tension, her playing from the first to the last note...
I know it's pretty randomly asking but does anyone know a good site to watch newly released series online ?
@Santiago Chad meh try Flixportal. Just google after it =) -avery
@Avery Salvador thank you, I signed up and it seems to work :D Appreciate it !
@Santiago Chad glad I could help :)
She is brave!
+Michał Błaszczak I agree, when I see/hear her perform I feel filled with COURAGE! She is AMAZING!
+ColoraturaBaritone It's a shame she didn't get to 3rd stage.
+Michał Błaszczak It's really a shame!!!!!! I am tired of boring "perfect" perfomances.... I want soul and sound!! But we will be watching for Alexia's performances an recitals! For the others I don't care....
+AmigosDelTango Patras I hope that Luigi Caroccia will do well in the 3rd stage, his performance was also filled with power and courage
+Michał Błaszczak I liked him too! Also I liked Dmitry Shishkin!!
Bravissima!!!!!!
Too many pianists mess around too much with the tempo. The Polonaise is so much more powerful when performed at the same speed throughout.
True daisy,
To histerical as for me. Some of moments really blured and itchy
To much pedal.
very strange and not precise playing...
forte is sometimes too aggressive and piano sometimes much too soapy and blurred.
many important details simply drowned.
some problems with legato.
